Description:Near to Sintra lies Quinta do Floral, a comfortable, beautiful villa with a luxurious private swimming pool. The villa stands on a private property of 10.000 sq. meters and is surrounded by a pine tree wood and an orchard with a.o. lemon and orange trees. It has a beautiful view towards the mountain of Sintra. For all those who like their privacy and contact with nature, this “Quinta” is ideal to spend the summer holidays. The swimming pool is surrounded by a marble terrace and has an outside shower. On the terrace in front of the house there is a barbecue and Portuguese tile table and benches. It has an excellent location: Quinta do Floral is near to two small villages, Mucifal and (historical) Colares. At Mucifal village, at 800 mts, you can purchase all your food articles, there are various butchers, bakery's and supermarkets. Also there is a small typical Portuguese market in the village, which is open every morming. Here you can buy fresh fish, bread, fruits and vegetables and various other food. At less then 2 km there are various beaches, such as Praia Grande and Praia das Maças, which you can reach by Tram. Also beautifal Praia da Adraga, a Blue Flag beach that was considered one of Europe's best beaches by The Sunday Times, and ranked number two in The Independent's list of top 10 Portugal beaches, is less then 3 km away. A holiday at Quinta do Floral is ideal for those who wish to combine relaxation, cultural visits and be near to the metropolitan as well, seeing that Cascais is at 17 km (various big shopping malls), Estoril (big casino and discotheques) at 20 km and Lisbon at 30 km. It is advisable to hire a car seeing that the property is situated so privately. One day you can chose to enjoy a ride with the century tram line and spend your day at Sintra Village center, the other you can take the tram to the Praia das Maçãs beach. At this beach, which is also a village, you can also go out at night, it has several bars and cafes and discotheques. It is also known for its splendid (fish)restaurants. You can also plan a daytrip to the beautiful seaside town, Azenhas do Mar, a little village built literally on the rocks and only 3 km away from the villa. Also, several Golf Courses are within half an hour drive from this villa. The closest is Penha Longa Golf (home of the Estoril Open). Also, Estoril Golf, Quinta da Marinha Golf, Quinta da Beloura Golf, Belas Golf, are at only 30 min. drive from the villa. And Cascais, an old fishing village that has wonderful cafe's, restaurants, shops and discotheques and a marina (with plenty of restaurants) where you can play all of the year. Both Cascais and Estoril have also an interesting night life as well. The villa has 3 bedrooms (2 double / 1 twin) with capacity to accommodate a party of 6, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, 1 livingroom with fire place and 1 spacious dining room. The villa is equipped with a vented fireplace, television in the living room, DVD, stereo, wireless internet, cable TV and automatic gates. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with all kinds of beautiful flowers and pine trees, as well as a big orchard with various fruit trees, such as orange, lemon, peach, avocado, tangarin trees and many more. There is also a large grass area, a terrace area, a barbecue, and parking space. All with a beautiful view on Sintra mountain, and so close to the sea that sometimes at night you can hear the waves breaking on the rocks.
