Description:THE ART LOFT GUESTHOUSEThis is a grand open loft with vaulted wood ceilings, draped skylights, a new bathroom and a mini kitchen with a new Fisher Paykel stainless steel refrigerator, and a stainless steel hot plate, and a microwave/convection oven.Originally an art studio, it's been converted to a spacious living space. Artist paint splattered floors contrast with modern furnishings, a queen bed with fluffy down bedding, a modular couch that can be put together to sleep 1-2 more, and there is also a queen aerobed. The open living space makes it good for families and close friends. Sleeps up to 6.It has wireless internet, a 32 Sony plasma flat panel HDTV, lots of books & magazines, a CD collection, a stereo system, and cable TV. All linens and towels, beach towels and taxes are included and there's plenty of street parking. Stroll to the beach through the lovely canals or grab one of our bikes and zip on down...and avoid the beach parking!This is a converted at Studio, Amenities include a 32 Sony plasma TV, a stereo, and lots of books.CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full payment. The house, originally built in the 1920's , combines the new like an Amana bottom freezer refrigerator and a GE gas stove with powerboil burners, with the original, like brass doornobs with keyholes and eyelet hooks on the the bathroom doors.The house has 2 bathrooms upstairs, one with a built in tub, the second with a stall shower, and a powder room downstairs. All the bedrooms are upstairs. The front and back bedrooms have queen beds, the small bedroom at the top of the stairs has a twin bed, the middle bedroom which you have to walk through to get to the back bedroom has two twin beds, (which makes these two rooms perfect for parents that have little ones they need to monitor) and the master bedrom which has a king bed. All bathrooms are shower/tub combination, with granite counters, and the master downstairs has green glass counters with a beautiful jacuzzi tub/shower combo. n nBalboa Pier and Balboa Island ferry are a short 5 minute walk away, Ride the ferry to the island and visit the quaint town, with restaurants, shopping and charming cottages on every street. Beach activities, including swimming, surfing, volleyball, and just hanging out and digging in the sand, are right out the door. n nThe Balboa Fun Zone is just up the street with rides, restaurants and bars for evening entertainment. You can visit Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Hollywood, Legoland, Universal studios, San Diego Wildlife Park, and Fashion Island, all just a short drive from your front door.
