Accessibility The villa has some steps so would not be suitable for the disabled or elderly with walking difficulties. From the road there are 11 steps down to the top apartment entrance. Then some more to the middle and down to the pool. Outside Privat pool (sole use of clients) 7 x 3m. Adequate sunbeds, tables and chairs. BBQ, table tennis, trampoline area. Lots of terraces for sunbathing or just looking out to sea. The villa enjoys sun all day , you can watch the sun rise and set from the terraces. You can see any fireworks from fiestas too. Booking notes A 30 % deposit is required to secure the booking(non refundable). Bank transfer in euros is preferred. The balance, plus a 300 euro damage deposit is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. The damage deposit covers damage, breakages or any excessive cleaning. This will be refunded 2 weeks after the rental period upon making a satisfactory check on the villa. Special rates apply for a stay of more than 2 weeks. During off season we also rent just the lower 3 bedroomed apartment . Please enquire for prices. House swap We would be willing to house swap with a house that sleeps 6. Not during the Summer season but any other time. Changeover day Changeover day is normally a Saturday but can be flexible. Description:We have a large range of accommodation in the village of Ferrer to suit all party sizes, from one person up to eight sharing. All the houses are built in the traditional Alpujarran style from local materials, with thick insulated walls which keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They have all been tastefully furnished by their owners and so are all different. Fans are provided for the summer months, and large gas heaters for the winter. Some houses also have fireplaces, and wood is available locally. The Ranch Studio offers exceptional value accommodation for 1 or 2 people. Fully equipped with its own small private terrace, and shared swimming pool and hot tub. All houses come fully equipped with all you should need for your stay, including bed linen and indoor towels. Please supply your own pool/beach towels and hairdryer if required. Houses are ready from 2pm on your day of arrival, and have to be vacated by 10am on your departure day. A basic welcome pack will be provided by us with a few essential ingredients, but there are many local supermarkets, though in Spain they are closed on Sundays, so if you are planning to arrive late on a Saturday, shop before you get here. Weather This valley offers premium weather conditions well into December, and a larger percentage of sun throughout the winter and spring, making Sa Cabana Vella a perfect getaway at any time of year. Between May and October, pure sunshine is the daily expectation. Daytime temperatures are between 25 40c (77F to 104F), and normally quite dry, lending to perfect beach weather. Evenings in summer are quite comfortable, usually between 20c to 30c (72F to 86F). Character Sa Cabana Vella offers a unique combination of the old world with modern comfort and convenience. We'd like to believe we offer a more sophisticated and individualistic alternative to the resort culture that Mallorca is known for, without being isolated. It's also a reflection of our own personality, and we hope that suits you! House rules Aside from the obvious no drugs, no other criminal activity, we do require copies of passports (we will manage this at time of arrival). Because the rooms are located within our home, we do appreciate your respect at late night or early morning hours. Feel free to stay up all night if you wish in warm season, the pool and terrace is delightful any time of day and you are free to use it. There are wet bars with music and television both on the terrace and by the pool. Parties may be held on the property, but only with prior approval. Smoking is permitted ONLY outside the house. There is absolutely NO smoking permitted inside the house. There are ashtrays at the bar on the terrace and pool area. Please use them. Pets are allowed ONLY with prior arrangement and exclusively at our discretion. The property is home to a number of species of wildlife including Peacocks, Cats, Rabbits, Chickens, Sheep, and Geckos. Authorised pets are welcome, and may freely roam the property as long as they do not present any danger to the local wildlife.
