Description:1 room available immediately, in a 1200 square foot furnished TriBeCa Loft. Pictures of the room and living room are listed here--it's a spacious, lovely loft in a prime TriBeCa (Downtown Manhattan) location.The loft has 3 bedrooms, and a large living and dining area (can seat up to 12 for dinner) with HDTV, Cable TV, DVD player & a DVR.There is also a roof we sometimes have dinner or relax on in the spring and summer. We even have a washing machine! It is very easy to get around town quickly, as we are 1.5 to 2.5 blocks from almost every Manhattan subway line--almost all of them express stations: The ACE, 123, 456, NRDQ andJMZ subways (The NRDQ is the only non-express station). We are located on Reade Street between Church and Broadway, about 4 blocks to the West Side Highway jogging/biking paths, Whole Foods, Food Emporium and a big movie theatre. Starbucks is half a block away.I'm ideally looking for people who are easy to live with and who have a sense of humor!The flat is shared with 2 young professionals. While we like having fun and throwing dinner parties in the apartment and on the roof, it is a non-smoking, non-drug apartment. We do drink!I am a 35-year old male who graduated from Columbia Business School in 2009. I'm currently working at a startup.There is a $270/ room charge that includes all utilities (Cable TV, WiFi, Heat &Electricity), apartment cleaning (every 2 weeks), renter's insurance and general, shared apartment items (paper towels/toilet paper/dish detergent/trash bags/light bulbs, etc.--(these are bought in bulk to save money). I'm happy to break these fees out for you. We not only have a big, sunny living room, but I find that one sleeps very well in this apartment, as all of the bedrooms have no windows. This may sound funny, but it s very common with lofts in this building (this set-up is better than the best blackout shade if you want to sleep in on the weekend). The bed in the room is either a queen or a full size (it looks something in-between, to be honest!). I can provide clean bed linens and towels for a temporary time period (I'm sure you will want to get your own at some point).I'm ideally looking for longer-term tenants, but I sometimes have availability for shorter periods. Please inquire if you are interested. I specified 30 days in the posting, but I am required by New York law to have people stay for no shorter than 32 days (roomorama doesn't allow me to choose anything between 30 and 45 days).It is a pretty quiet apartment (as NYC apartments go) as we are on the 5th floor of a 5th floor walkup.
