It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer.This listing is for use of a private 2 BR apartment with 2 private bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchenette and an outdoor private patio! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman for security and convenience, gym and laundry room as well.The patio outside either bedroom has a table and chairs which is lovely for coffee in the morning, as the sun is all over it.If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well.The kitchenette has the bare, basic necessities, fridge, microwave, hot plate with a couple of top of the line stainless pots/pans, a coffee maker. You are able to make small dishes (pasta, veggies, etc.) but there is no oven. Within 1 block in any direction, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and 24 hr deli that makes killer sandwiches 24 hours. Or you can have anything simply delivered like room service!The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, mostly 2 bedrooms, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with outdoor patios! Overall, this is a young building: the average age in the entire complex is between 27-40. But these bedrooms are extremely quiet as it's in the corner of a building ground level. This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. There is heavy culture, art/galleries and about a dozen beautifully manicured gardens open to the public.The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5-10 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your home away from home will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), 2 private patios in the unit, a huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 3-400 within a 10 block radius. Enjoy a beautiful park (Tompkins Square) at the end of the block and an East River waterfront park about 4 streets/blocks to the east.For additional fees, I can act as chauffeur to pick-up/drop off @ airport, take you to attractions in NYC, on Long Island, Catskills, Hamptons, etc.. or be your personal tour guide to all the tourist attractions, as well as to the cool, not-in-the-guide-books places for nightlife or dinner.ADDITIONAL INFO / CHARGES:$250/night on weekends (Thu-Sun), but if you stay 7 nights or more, it's 200/night for duration of stay.For stays less than 7 days a cleaning fee of $ 50 is required at check in.
