Room is LARGE size with dresser, bookcase, Queen double sized bed, Desk, Chair, table, AC, ... Apartment has massive sitting room with bay window, flatscreen tv cable dvd etc. Full kitchen with all appliances, oven coffee maker toaster etc. Roomy bathroom with old fashioned Victorian claw foot tub and power shower. Historic brownstone with original hardwood floors and converted fireplace. Also has garden / yard in the back and washer / dryer in the basement. Really is a fantastic space. Stunning homely home for you to stay in for your holiday. There are 2 small kittens in the apartment who like to play. They have automatic feeder and litter so will be no responsibility to the subletter. Roommate is a grad student at NYU. Transportation is great € cabs from manhattan soho east village LES are only $10 € 15, literally just over the bridge. Subways G C A F B Q N R etc. all close and loads of buses to Williamsburg (10 mins away) downtown Brooklyn etc. Farmers market in Fort Greene Park every Saturday and lots of cute restaurants and cafes on Myrtle and Dekalb avenues. Supermarket, post office, coffee shop etc all round the corner. Half an hour to Rockaway Beach for surfers! You will also be able to use my vintage 1970 € s bike while I am gone if you like cycling about. Rent is $1300 for the month, to be paid in advance. There is only 2 apartments in the building, including this one. The building is old and not fancy at all, but the apartment is very nice and well maintained. The entire place has been completely renovated February 2012, after previous guests trashed it, which lead to complety redo the place and impose stricter house rules. Renovations on February 2012 include: New furnitures, new paint, new beds, new tiles on floor, bathroom and kitchen, new linens for all rooms. Please read the house rules. A cleaning schedule is define and every roommate must participate in the process: cleaning the shared space once a month.
