Description:This Coastal Chalet Home is 5 years old and has all the amenities you will need. It has a loft with a queen bed which looks over the great room / kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen bed and has a private entrance that goes out to a wood fired sauna and the woods. The other bedroom has a full size bed and overlooks the back 4 acres. The great room / kitchen has a full island where everyone can gather and a full kitchen to use: 5 burner gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer combo with ice maker and many other appliances. The great room comes equipped with ps3 / dvd player, dish network, 40 flat screen tv and wireless internet throughout. Outside you can enjoy a deck with patio table, umbrella and a Weber gas fired grill. Soon to come is another deck out back off the master bedroom with outside shower (complete by June). The bathroom has a separate shower (two shower heads) and tub (extra 2 depth). Outside you can enjoy a wood fired sauna (dry only), 4 acres to wander on, organic gardens, lawn space, and peaceful birds singing. The driveway is large so if you are traveling with a boat there is plenty of space to park and pull in. The house is located 7 miles (15 minutes' drive) from Blue Hill where you will find everything from fine dining restaurants to bar and grill settings, art galleries, cute shops and stores, and about an hour's drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. What's great about this location is you are only about 2 miles from the public boat launch that leads you directly to Eggemoggin Reach where you can kayak, boat, swim or just wander along the beaches. Within a twelve mile radius there are tons of spectacular views and places to discover. Other small surrounding towns Deer Isle, Stonington, Brooklin, Cape Rosier (Holbrook Island Sanctuary), Brooksville, Sargentville and Castine. The house is perched atop a daylight basement where I have a small bakery business. The plus is everyday I bake, Wed-Sat there will be fresh baked goodies delivered in the morning for you to enjoy. Description:At The Shore - Cape Elizabeth, a small coastal community on Casco Bay at the entrance to Portland Harbor, is a suburb of Maine's largest city, Portland. Cape Elizabeth (pop 8500) is a historic town, famous for its lighthouses, parks, and scenic vistas of Maine's legendary rocky coast. The town sits on a peninsula that juts 12 miles into the open sea, rimmed by craggy shores and sandy beaches. It marks the entrance to picturesque Casco Bay and provides oceanfront beaches, saltwater coves, grassy sand dunes and wooded areas that provides outdoor recreation such as swimming, fishing and boating, shelling, windsurfing, hiking, picnicking, sea kayaking and much more. A 5 mile drive over the Casco Bay Bridge will take you directly to downtown Portland and The Old Port with the Portland International Jetport being 8 miles away. LLBean is an easy 30 minute drive and Boston is approx 1 1/2 hour drive. Cape Elizabeth is host to an annual Labor Day Art Show. The annual Beach to Beacon road race is run every August. Description:Our home is yours during our vacations abroad - we vacate leaving it professionally cleaned and fully equipped for your ease and comfort. It is a hundred year old home with airy rooms and modern design. We are located in a leafy neighborhood a block from Back Bay's walking and cycling trails, 2 miles to the heart of downtown Portland, across the street from an artisan bakery. Wifi, fireplace, washer/dryer and all amenities are included. Kitchen is fully equipped with many condiments, wine glasses, and all that is required for the serious cook. Kitchen appliances include JennAir gas oven/stove, Bosch dishwasher, and on the deck a Weber propane bbq. The yard is fenced, private, and shady. There is parking in the driveway for two vehicles. We've rented another of our homes for more than 15 years and are accustomed to catering to the discerning traveler. She offers ample, comfortably padded cockpit seating w/a handy folding table & cup holders, propane grill, all safety gear/PFDs (sorry ~ no children's sizes ~ BYO), including safety netting around the entire deck. Use the GPS/Nav & auto-pilot systems w/new laminated navigation charts - but no radar. She has a tow-behind, Puffin dinghy ~ a Maine classic, w/oars or motor available ~ suited for 2-4 people to transfer to/from shore. A well-qualified captain & crew may charter alone, at the owners' discretion, or we may provide captain & chef for one couple/small family, if our schedules allow. She has rare, seasonal availability ~ mostly weekdays/nights during June-Sept ~ so book early! Description:Beautiful furnished second floor apt available for rent by the night, week or month in South Portland just over the bridge from downtown Portland. You can walk or ride a bike to shopping, beaches, restaurants, bars, parks.... GREAT location. Large kitchen, one bathroom with large shower, dining room, living room and bedroom. PLUS just got a new, very yummy, therapedic bed. Antique chic decor with great light and cozy atmosphere. Sleeps 1-2 but I can provide you with a twin bed if you need or a queen blow up bed. Dogs are welcome and there is a nice big fenced in back yard with lots of furniture and a grill. The green belt walkway is just across the way for running, biking, walking. Linens included. Bus stop just out front. Two bicycles are available for use, no cable tv but tv and dvd player with some dvd's available also wireless internet is available for a small fee. It is on a busy street but I have only had one complaint as it dies down at night and you can drown out the sound with a fan. There is off street parking but you can also park on Broadway or Elm so can have more then one car. $50 cleaning. $560/ week, or prorated daily with a 3 day minimum stay.
