Description:PARISIAN LIVING IN A PARISIAN QUARTER n nLocated on the 3rd floor (French) of a 19th Century building constructed in 1830, this apartment measures 40sqm (or 430sqft) and offers quiet, charm, comfort and lots of natural light. A complete renovation was achieved in July 2010 with the assistance of a local young talented architect and interior designer, Romain Dard. The common areas of the building have also undergone a renovation with an eye to preserving original design and beauty. Ideally southwest oriented, the apartment enjoys full natural light all day long. The main room measures 25sqm (270sqft) and consists of a living area, dining area and an open kitchen. The living room is perfect for relaxation after a full day of exploring and discovering Paris. There are two very comfortable club chairs and a large sofa bed. The entertainment system consists a large flat screen TV offering more than 100 channels in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and other languages, a sound system (please feel free to listen to music from our personal CD collection), a DVD player and a Wi-Fi connection made available to all guests. Unlimited free phone calls from the apartment telephone are available for all calls within Europe, Canada and the USA (except special and mobile phone numbers.) The dining area is located at an angle by windows and consists of a contemporary glass table with chairs. n nThe kitchen has been painted a brilliant red and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, an induction cook-top, a combination traditional and microwave oven, a large refrigerator and freezer and a clothes washing machine. Within the Chinese cabinet and in the kitchen cupboards are located eating utensils, dishes, glasses, tableware, napkins, place mats, kitchen towels and cooking equipment. n nThe bedroom is large and contains a queen size bed, very ample closet space and is separated from the living area by double sliding doors. There is also a large window looking on to the inner courtyard, the window dressing consists of outsized darkening drapes, which allow for isolation and complete quiet for late morning sleep-ins. During renovation much attention was given to materials for the bathroom, which offers a contemporary style washbasin, toilet and enclosed shower. The bathroom floor is of slate and the shower walls are done in stone from Italy. It is located in a 19th century walk up building on the 5th floor in the 4th arrondissement. Off the hall there is a king size bedroom with a heater, shutters, a closet, table and chair. Leading off the bedroom is the bathroom with bath tub/shower, WC and heater. The apartment sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults/2 children comfortably but a third child can be accommodated if required. We do not request a security deposit provided clients accept responsibility and agree to pay / make good any damages, breakages, etc. Otherwise the security deposit is 500.00 and is payable in advance or on arrival with our greeter.
