Description:Bright and sunny (there are windows in every room) this 54 square meter, furnished, 2nd floor apartment (with elevator) has high ceilings with traditional french molding, hardwood floors, and 2 balconettes overlooking the street. It is situated on villa Stendhal: a quiet dead-end street in one of Paris's trendiest neighborhoods...just steps from Pere Lachaise and MAMA SHELTER and a few blocks from lovely restaurants, a theater and cinema, specialty food shops, dry cleaners, bakeries, bookshops etc. There are 3 different outdoor markets held on different days within walking distance to experience the joys of shopping outside supermarkets (everything from produce, to meat and fowl, to seafood of all sorts, to hardware and clothing). The apartment is a 2-minute walk from Place Gambetta which is a hub for convenient bus and metro connections throughout Paris. As set up it can comfortably accommodate 2-3 people (there is a double bed in the bedroom that sleeps 2...as well as a very comfortable daybed in living room that sleeps 1). There is also a comfortable air mattress available that can be inflated for an occasional extra guest willing to visit camping style. The double sejour connected living-diningroom creates a good space for entertaining...with a table that seats 6 and can also be used as a workspace. The apartment has a small, well organized kitchen with cooktop, oven and pots and pans, dishes etc provided. And there is also a small washer / dryer to do your laundry. The tiled bathroom has both tub and shower. Wifi internet, TV, telephone (with free calls to many locations worldwide) heat and electricity are included in the rent.
