This really cute, comfortable and romantic apartment in the attic is on the fourth floor and last floor of a beautiful 18th century building with a courtyard secured with a digicode and gate. there is no elevator as typically in the Marais. There are many restaurants and a market: ” les enfants rouges” 1 block away. The exposure is south (very bright) and it faces a courtyard with a view over Paris roofs (very calm). Located rue de Poitou with all its trendy boutiques, between Rue Vieille du Temple: gallery row & Rue Saintonge. This studio/apt has 2 rooms(not 2 bedrooms) Room1 When you enter it is a separate and open kitchen with a big window overlooking the roofs of Paris. It is equipped with an electric oven/ four electric burners a small fridge and a sink, counter top, cabinets, cutlery, dishes, coffee maker and everything one needs to cook. (it has been renovated a year ago) Facing the entry off the kitchen is a small tiled bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet. Description:February 2012 UPDATE: We listened to your feedback and just installed a brand new router in the studio, which means super fast and reliable wi-fi available 24/7! This is a nice studio apartment located in rue des Lombards,right in the center of Paris in the lively neighborhood of Chatelet Les Halles. It is on the 2nd floor of a lovely building, with no lift. You will have the whole apartment to yourselves, this is not a share. The studio itself is fully furnished with a double bed, a shower, sink, 2 electrical plates, a microwave, a washing machine and a fridge. Please note that in n quaint Parisian style, the private toilet is located right outside the studio on the same floor. Check in-time is from 2pm, and check out is by 12pm. The reason behind this is that we need those 2 hours to have the studio ready for you! Unfortunately we are not set up as a hotel and cannot offer luggage storage facilities if you are arriving in Paris early in the morning, or leaving in the evening. Instead we recommend using the lockers at Gare du Nord station. The nearest metro station is Chatelet, 1 minute away. Being the most central station in Paris it is well connected with all the other lines, as well as the airports and train stations. On your doorstep you will find plenty of restaurants, jazz clubs, bars and shops. It is a short 5 minutes walk from the Pompidou Center, and only 10 to the Louvre or the Marais. Saint Germain, Saint-Michel or the Luxembourg Gardens are also reachable by foot very easily. Within moments you could find yourself crossing the bridge to Notre-Dame or walking by the Seine.
