Description:Located 30 meters away from the famous Moulin Rouge, this small but cozy duplex has everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Paris. The apartment consists of a ground floor (with small patio area) plus an underground floor. It has been fully renovated (as of November 2011) and includes: digicode secure lock (at entrance), small mezzanine (for two people), a convertible sofa/bed, fridge, hotplates, a REAL oven, coffee maker, dishes, cooking/eating utensils, hard wood floors, individual electric heating, vacuum, ADSL highspeed internet, wifi, tv, dvd, iron & ironing board, a small desk and chair, shelves & closet hanger, a private toilet, and shower. Clean linen & towels are also provided! The apartment is perfect for one person, a young couple or a small family (there is an extra airbed if you need it!) Close by, you will find a post-office, money exchange office, banks, supermarkets (Monoprix is open from 8am until 11pm), bakeries, and cinemas. Historical sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées, and Notre Dame are only 15-20 minutes away by Metro. Description:Paris Rental ID #102 Sleeps 3 Historic Place des Vosges Location n nThe studio is situated in an oasis of calm right in the heart of the Marais area - a very beautiful, central part of historic old Paris. It 's a ‘,feel-good’, place in a lovely quiet Seventeenth Century courtyard with a huge oak-tree and plenty of greenery (and birds), just one street north of the Place des Vosges. The Picasso Museum, Georges Pompidou Centre, best contemporary art galleries - all are an easy walk from the studio. Shopping chic just around the corner... One of Paris’, most popular restaurants with terrace, practically across the street from the this Paris rental, and a choice of many others minutes away. Why look elsewhere? n nOn the ground floor with plenty of light and sun as windows take up the whole southern wall, and the next building is good 80 yards away. There is also light from the other side of the living room - a sound deadening double-glazed window looking out on the street (but higher than the passers by) so it gives the room a dynamic light from both sides. n nA small entrance hall - to the left is the living room (about 20m²,) and - straight on - the bathroom with a big bath-tub. It 's difficult to explain, but after the bathroom there is a sort of a patio (covered with a see-through hard plastic roof) which has become a tiny kitchen with a sink and a work surface and a very flashy two burner stove top (no oven). This kitchen has built-in ventilation and is meant to be used for cooking so that you don 't have to smell-up the living-room, which also has a kitchen corner (all in oak-wood) comprising a fridge advertised as the most quiet running in the world, a micro-wave oven, a toaster, a Nespresso coffee-machine, an electric kettle and cupboards for dishes etc. - meant for preparing snacks and breakfast. n nThe living room is furnished with an antique round oak table and a smaller rectangular table (also antique), a vey comfortable sofa-bed (with a real mattress) that opens to sleep two people plus a sofa that can sleep one, a book-shelf, CD and cassette player, TV and a clothes cupboard. The apartment looks out onto a private garden. nGreat Room : Furnished with attention to detail, you will find completely new furnishings. There are hardwood floors throughout. Next to the queen size bed are matching bedside tables and lamps. You can hide your suitcases in customer closets to the left of the kitchen area. If you might have an extra guest, you can make use of the fold out leather sofa with designer footrest and coffee tables. There is an expandable breakfast table that seats up to four comfortably by the 3 front windows looking onto the CobbleStone Courtyard. nThe ceilings reach high. Ground floor, but inside a beautiful private courtyard. No stairs and easy access with luggage. The Private Outdoor Terrace is just outside with a table and chairs and privacy behind the green trees. nThe private bathroom is in the back with a large shower, lavatory and toilet behind a door. nIn the brand new kitchen, you will find all you need to make yourself at home including Full Size Refrigerator and Freezer, Hot Water boiler, Coffee Machine, microwave, and toaster. You have 3 huge windows looking onto the private terrace with curtains to pull if you desire. When you want it, there is plenty of light. nThe apartment is accessed halfway down a private cobblestone courtyard with inset lighting. The property owners take pride in the details. The private terrace makes the property feel larger especially during when the guests are enjoying the indoor, outdoor living. nThere is a metro stop one block away, and Bastille circle is very close offering several for dining options. nKitchen: The kitchen is new but basic with a fridge, microwave, 2 top range. There is a large rack for your spices, dishes and other supplies. nTerrace/Pati A beautiful and relxing place to enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning and glass of wine in the evening.Bathroom: In the main bathroom, you have a full size luxury shower, a spacious sink and dressing area and a washer/dryer at your disposal. The flat was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and charming with floor-to-ceiling windows and a lovely patio. The bed, furniture, linens were of the highest quality and all of the appliances were beautifully maintained. The flat was a quiet refuge to return to after long days of wandering Paris.
