Description:Hello, The flat is a a 2 rooms - 55 m2, wooden floor. Atypic space - The decoration is quite sober. Very clean. 6' and last floor of the building (please note that are no stairs, but it is healthy) - oriented to the south : with 5 large windows, and small balconies (plantes friendly!), Very clear, lots of light. modern windows keep it quiet. The opened kitchen is very well equiped, very fonctionnal : big oven, fridge, 4 cooking gaz, a washing machine for dishes. the bathroom got a shower, and a washing machine for clothes. The restrooms are separated and got its own tiny bookshelf.. In the living room there's a also nice bookshelf. It is 5 minutes from Canal st Martin, you can enjoy here a nice neighborhood with many little restaurant and bars. It's a trendy place. A very nice french bakery is situated 5 minutes from the flat. On sunday you can enjoy a nice food market one block around. The flat is close to Goncourt, Republique and Belleville stations which are very practicle and simple access to go everywhere in Paris. Description:PERFECT FOR 1 TO 2 GUESTS : The bright apartment is 30 sq big or 323 sf. The place is very quiet and calm. So it's easy to get used to it and sleep well. The apartment is in a very SAFE building and neighborhood. It's on the 5th floor. No elevator but it's a good exercice :-). Since it's an old appartement, the walls need a refresh. That means you don't have to be that much cautious. Cleaning is done by my Housemaid before and after your stay. You will have the whole apartment to yourselves, this is not a share. LOCATION : The apartment is located in the great area St Germain des Prés, really close to the Louvre, le Musée Maillol, Rodin, d'Orsay, la Seine is at 5 mns walk, and the Odeon theater and cinemas are also a short walk away. The appartement is 20 seconds from the Metro Station Rue Du Bac. Saint Germain, Saint-Michel or the Luxembourg Gardens are also reachable by foot very easily. You can walk to all the major sights or take the subway or bus (many lines around the corner!). I can tell you that I love the neighborhood, so classic Parisian with its beautiful buildings, countless restaurants and cafés, great bakeries (Poilane, LaDurée, Hermé) and super-cute boutique shops (clothes, antiques and home decor). You'll also find all the shops you dream of at less than a 5 min walk : supermarkets (Le Bon Marché, Monoprix, Franprix), bakeries, cheese shops, delicatessens, butcher shop, wein shops... It doesn't really matter which one, as they all cost about the same amount (12 to 15e). It can take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 and a half hours, depending on traffic. If you're in a hurry the fastest way of getting to and from CDG is by using the RER train, which is part of the metro system (it takes around 40 minutes and costs about 9€). FROM BEAUVAIS AIRPORT The only public transport available from Beauvais to the centre of Paris is a shuttlebus that costs 15e. The trip takes 1 hour and 15 mintues, and will let you off at Porte-Maillot, which is on subway line number 1. Once on line 1, you will have the opportunity to transfer to line 12. FROM ORLY AIRPORT The shuttle is very simple and handy if you have a lot of luggage. The connection to RER line B is also good, and from the RER B you have numerous options for tranferring onto metro line 12. Any method of transport you choose will take between 40 minutes and 1 hour. -----TAXI ----- Taking a taxi is always an option, but in general it is quite expensive, between 40 to 70e.... more info >>
