Description:Friendly artist couple is renting out their apartment for holidays. ABOUT OUR APARTMENT Our 40m2 (430ft2) one-bedroom apartment is located just around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe and the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. It's on the second floor of a building that opens to a sunny and quiet courtyard the building has two digital code locks and a live-in caretaker (gardienne). The apartment is very luminous (a window in every room), very well kept, minimally decorated and keeps pleasantly cool during hot summer periods. It has two separate rooms (bedroom and living room), entry hall, separate kitchen, bathroom and toilets. NICE NEIGHBORHOOD AND GREAT ACCESS The apartment is located in one of the cleanest and safest neighborhoods in Paris (i.e. lower 17th and 16th arrondissements) beside all the basic stores (several supermarket chains, grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, cafés and restaurants) there's a regular fruit market and street antiques market within 5-minute walking distance. The neighborhood is very well connected to every part of Paris. The apartment is at three-minute walk from the Charles de Gaulle Étoile metro station (under the Arc de Triomphe) where the 1st, 2nd and 6th metro lines (and RER) meet. The first line takes you to the center of Paris (The Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Marais) in 10 minutes and the second line to Montmartre district (Sacré Coeur, Moulin Rouge) in about the same time. Our place is perfect for a couple who appreciates quiet and luminous apartment with discreet interior design and who doesn’t want to spend excessive time in public transport when going sightseeing. The apartment can accommodate up to four people, but the other two would be invited to camp on the living room floor (we will provide a double air bed).
