Description:Our house (bilt in 1905. with a little tower) was entirely renovated at the end of 2010 and we redecorated it ourselves…..We’ve put a lot of enthusiasm into it and we hope you’ll love it. Detailed description: • Surface area : 67 square meters • Entrance hall with two cupboard for your coats and other things •Living room with hardwood floor, a pull out sofa suitable for 2 people, Internet access, HiFi and TV •Equipped american kitchen (a traditional oven, plates, dishwasher, kettle, etc...) with two dinning tables, one for breakfast and the other one for the meals. A big fridge with a freezer, a coffee pot, a tea pot, a toaster. Dishes and all utensils you may need are at your disposal. • Small shower room with toilette at the ground floor and bathroom with a begnoire and toilette on the first floor, both have lavatory with a mirror •There is also a washing machine. vacuum-cleaner, iron, hairdryer... 2 bedrooms (1 in attick), bedding and towels provided • Individual gas heating included, electricity included for normal using Around: •The neighbourhood is a friendly, vibrant, multicultural area. Many different communities live peacefully here. Bi-weekly local market (on Wednesday and Saturday) and all sorts of other shops (bakeries, clothes, bookshops, organic shop...) two minutes walk from the house, so you can have a go at French cuisine! Small supermarket round the corner. •The biggest park of Paris (bois de Vincennes) is just a 15 minutes walk. There is Velib bike station near the apartment and buses running all day long going to Château de Vincennes (46) Transportation: • 5 minutes by foot to metro line n°9 Robespierre and 8 minutes by foot to RER A (Vincennes) It is just a quick hop into centrql Paris, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées in 17 minutes! This line is speedy and conveniently takes you straight to a lot of the main placesof interest. Description:Whole house available : Summer vacation : July - August Sleeps up to 6 people Minimum 1 week stay This unusual light-filled and quiet 120m2 home has wall to wall windows overlooking a large private garden. Our house and garden are tucked away behind a building on the street. The building entrance door is protected by a digicode. There is also a concierge. There are three bedrooms, a large living room, a real kitchen and all amenities : washer, dryer, dishwasher, cable TV, Dvd player, high speed internet, WIFI, FREE Phone for calls (to the US and in France) and lots of books. The living area has a veranda with double doors which open out onto the garden, an old round wooden table which can seat 8, an out of tune piano, a stereo, a cable television with DVD player. The sofa opens out into a double bed. We have just finished laying down an oak wood floor in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, toaster and refrigerator. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils supplied. There is grapevine growing outside the window. All the rooms have wall to wall windows on the garden. The beds are firm and there a good bedside reading lights. There are desks, shelves and storage space in each. The master bedroom is 27M2. The second bedroom is 19M2. The third bedroom is 9M2 and has a mezanine bed. The bathroom is very large and has a tub/shower, w/c. This is where you will find the washer and dryer. There is a second w/c. Bed linens and towels are provided. In the garden you will find an outdoor table for dining, a simple barbecue, an old Parisian park bench, and a swing ball game. Shopping is right around the corner – supermarkets, fruit and vegetable stores, boulangeries, butchers, cheese stores, hair salons, pharmacy, florist, etc. Bois de Vincennes, swimming pool, tennis courts, are all in walking distance. There is a farmers markets twice a week. Please be advised that: There are cats in the house!!!! (The tenant will be responsible for feeding and caring for the cats). The closest metro station is 3 minutes from the house. The number 1 metro line runs through the heart of Paris with quick access to the whole city. Bastille is 10 minutes away. The Louvre is 13 minutes... Métro : Saint-Mandé – No 1 line (Chateau de Vincennes – La Défense): . The bus stops are just across the street. Bus : 56, 86 (direct to Saint-Germain des Près). This is line 3 which take you directly to Opera (2 stops) and line 11 that takes you to the Pompidou Center (1 stop) for example. Great bus service is nearby, with the Louvre just minutes away once aboard. n nThe main room provides a great quiet space in the facing onto two separate courtyards. During the day, the room is bathed in light from windows on all sides. In the evenings, you can pull up your chairs to plan your next day’,s adventures while remembering the great sightseeing of the day! The main room has a comfortable sofa, and a dining table with seating for up to 4 people.
