Description:The historical Villa Pepi was built by the Pepi Family at the beginning of the 17th Century. The house sits high on a hill in the rural Arno Valley and, although it is only 24 km (15 miles) from Florence's historical centre it enjoys commanding views over the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The villa is arranged over three floors accomodates up to 12 people in great charm and comfort. After about 4 km you’ll find the old “Torre dell’Isola” (on your right hand side). About 150m, after you have passed it, you’ll find on the left “Vigliano – proprietà privata” sign. Description:Apartment 2 Lilla sleeps 5 / 6 The apartment is located on the first floor, with stunning views of the Villa of Tower to Cona on one side, and the other a view of the Valdarno. It is reached by a lovely wooden staircase of terraces, with flowers falling from the rocks on one side and the roof of the shed in brick covered with flowering vine on the other. There is a lovely private lawn with deck chairs and umbrellas for relaxing in the evenings, with a tranquil view of the surrounding hills. There is also an area covered by a gazebo with table and chairs with barbecue for al fresco dining with friends and family. It includes two bedrooms, one bedroom with a wrought iron headboard painting and antiques of the early twentieth century, and a larger one with three beds (two of which are pushed together) with raised wooden Tuscan furniture and early twentieth century in which a cot can be added. The bathrooms are completely modern, the big one has sanitary porcelain gray (sink, bidet, wc and large bathtub with shower and washing machine), the small toilet and sink. Living TV with leather sofa and armchairs, dining table with wrought iron and glass (8 people) with furniture sideboard and an attractive cast iron stove for cold winter days. The Rough Stone House Situated in the medieval hamlet of Bisticci, in a panoramic position in the Tuscan hills of Chianti Valdarno is easily accessible from the A1, and is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, while being very close to many cultural sites in Tuscany: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pisa. The farmhouse, completely restored in 2002, was once the mansion of the Keeper of the Castle Bisticci (1450), and is surrounded by olive groves and a forest of chestnut trees, with the possibility of excursions and walks in the woods nearby. The house is surrounded by extensive gardens and a grove, ensuring guests a pleasant stay and absolute rest. Tranquility and privacy is guaranteed in this quiet and respectful of nature. The Rough Stone House offers to rent both weeks and for longer periods up to 12 months, two apartments, The Lilac and Old Fireplace. Description:'Sole' ('Sun') is a fine apartment in a medieval watchtower built around 1200 (called 'Chiarafonte' because of a spring nearby). Located on Chianti hills, it's very close to the Rignano-Reggello railway station (10 min by car or taxi), so you can reach Florence city center (Santa Maria Novella) in less than 30 min. Chiarafonte is surrounded by woods and is very quiet. It's located in a no-hunting area, so there's also plenty of wild animals like rabbits, squirrels, deers, pheasants... Dogs and cats are welcome, of course. The 'Sole' apartment has 1 private bathroom with shower 1 external shared bathroom with shower during summer, 2 bedrooms and 1 double couch bed in the living room. Air conditioning is not provided because it is not necessary: it's not unusual to use bed covers during summer nights.
