Description:Lovely little mansard directly on the Piazza Navona roofs, which, with its Baroque style, is the most beautiful square in Rome! With access to the terrace and to a terraced tower from where you will admire a unique view of the entire city. The apartment is suitable for two people (can add just a camping cot), autonomous and fully equipped: double king-size bed, air conditioning, heating, TV, bathroom with shower, bidet and washer machine, kitchenette with fridge and dishwasher . The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Our guests will also find a basic food storage (coffee, tea, salt, sugar, detergents, pasta, soft drinks, etc.). The flat address is Corsia Agonale No. 10, on the fourth floor of medieval palace under whose columns you can still see a set pillar of the original ancient Domitian's Stadium or Circus Agonalis (built nell'85 A. C. to hold the Greek athletic games, agones), on which ancient circuit, the square was built during the centuries, preserving over time elongated rectangular shape of the original arena. Now many street artists attending the square, equipped with improvised banquet to paint and exhibit their creations, some specialized in portraits and caricatures for passersby. Or living statues, clowns, musicians and singers, making it one of the most vital and interesting part of the city. With the Navona Square you can stay right in the heart of the historic center, a few meters from the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Colosseum, etc.. and in the heart of Rome's nightlife. Nearby is also Campo de 'Fiori, a meeting place at night, but during the day offers one of the most popular outdoor market in Rome. However, the entire neighborhood is full of taverns, restaurants, bars, shops and markets. Also just across the river you can walk to Trastevere, the ancient Roman district famous for its nightlife and exceptional restaurants and pizzerias. Complete sets of linen and towels (100% cotton) are provided. Oppure le statue viventi, i clown, i musicisti e i cantanti, che la rendono, soprattutto nelle ore serali, uno dei punti più vitali ed interessanti della città.Con Navona Square potrete soggiornare proprio nel cuore del centro storico, a pochi metri da Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, etc. e nel fulcro della vita notturna di Roma. Please notice that each one of the rooms has its own bathroom. An extra bed has been added to accommodate up to 11 people.If you're travelling with toddlers, we may also offer you the following items for their comfort (on request only): a camping cot, a playpen and a high chair (for children up to 15kg).The apartment includes a washing machine and a TV set (TV only in Italian). The size of the apartment is 90 square metres plus the terrace (40 square metres).This apartment is located on Via Tiburtina, in the young, lively district of San Lorenzo. This neighbourhood is one of the most popular ones amongst university students in Rome, for it is set very close to the Città Universitaria. The entire area is filled with students who attend different courses (from Engireering to Modern Languages), and thus many pubs, cinemas and entertainment places in general have been opened in this area over the last years. Some of the most interesting sites around San Lorenzo include Porta di San Lorenzo, Basilica di San Lorenzo fuori le mura, the Cemetery of Verano, the University City and the Catacumbs of Ciriaca. The apartment is not very far away from the Central Railway Station of Termini, which comes in very handy if you arrive in Rome by train (either from the airport or from another Italian city).
