Tuscany Apartment Lucca Italy - Olive Farm Apartment The apartment forms part of a Lucca farmhouse accommodation situated on an olive farm on the hillside overlooking Lucca city. Included is a 4 x 3 metre pool. This is Ideal for two adults and two children or for a couple who want to relax in a peaceful tranquil setting. Extra beds can be provided. We have a swing and a slide and also a play house for the children. Ideal accommodation, apartments Lucca. Location This Lucca apartment is set at 300 meters above sea level amongst olive groves and woodland. It has panoramic views of the nearby hills and farm land as well as the valley of the river Serchio. The house is located in Tramonte, a hillside area above Ponte a Moriano, its nearest town/village. Lucca town is a 10 km/ 6 miles drive away from the house. The distance to Pisa airport is approx. 35 km, whereas Florence city its famous walls enclose a place that can be walked or cycled with ease yet remains full of secrets. Lucca one of Italy's finest medieval treasures, the centre is unspoilt and is sprinkled with palazzi, towers and almost countless splendid churches. The surrounding Lucca hills produce some excellent wines and arguably the finest olive oil anywhere, whilst the beaches and nightlife are but a small hop away. You can visit the house where Giacomo Puccini was born or visit the famous Villas of Napoleons sisters, all in Lucca. Description of the accommodation The Lucca apartment is part of a family residence divided into two parts, each with its own driveway and parking space. The apartment is on the ground floor and has its own large, secluded south-facing terrace immediately adjacent to the olive groves. The accommodation comprises of a good size lounge with sofa and dining areas, leading into a 'living' kitchen with original fireplace from where you can reach the main bedroom and bathroom across a small corridor. The lounge includes a large double pull out bed as well as a settee. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, washbasin, bidet and toilet. The large double-bedroom is furnished with wooden interiors. The kitchen is fully fitted.. Bed linen and towels are provided. The Lucca apartment was totally renovated and refurnished during the last winter and all interiors are new and in perfect condition, giving the apartment a fresh and clean feeling. Gas and electricity are at extra cost, we only charge for what you use. We are available to pick you up from the Airport and to familiarise you with local knowledge.You are advised to hire a car to get the full benefit of sightseeing and to visit local restaurants in Lucca etc. If you need help with transport we can arrange to take you to the local train station in Lucca or bus and pick you up early evening - please advise on booking if this is required as additional costs are incurred. We are surrounded by woods and green fields. n nOur place is very beautiful for natural landscapes (100 Lake Park), castles, vicinity of cities of art (Parma, Piacenza, Cremona, Mantova, Reggio) and the sea (Versilia, Cinque Terre) and also for famous foods (Parma = Food Valley) and very good wine ( Parma Hills Wine). n nWe can offer peace and quiet and different opportunities like trekking, biking, sports, and also birdwatching. It's possible also to partecipate in the farm's activities ( herb distillation, honey extraction, study of mushrooms), or simply to make paint watercolours or music. n nWe should like to accomodate children's groups for different holidays(we have experience with italian children) n nSpecial is the blind-people way that we have on our land: unique that there isn't same in all the our region. n nMost of foods are farm produced. n nPlus we have a large choice of home-made jams, spirits, herbs, essential oils. n nIn the summer it's possible to visit a different country festival every night. n nAll the famous local products (Ham Parma, Salame Felino, Culatello, Parmesan Cheese) can be bought around us and visit producing houses. n nThirty years ago also we left city life and we came to live on these mountains.
