It has been meticulously restored and ethically upgraded to provide modern living convenience with architectural integrity with its origins. A Suite @ Kitsilano Cottage is a single, upscale, self-contained, garden level suite. It is approximately 825 square feet. There are two bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other a queen size bed. There is, a double sized sofabed in the living room. The furnishings are a blend of antique and authentic hardwood reproductions in the Craftsman or, as our guests from the United Kingdom fondly refer to it, Macintosh style. The suite has its own private entry, patio, separate private phone line with TAD, hi definition LCD-TV with DVD/VCR and digital cable featuring pay per view and video on demand, Broadband Internet access by Ethernet & WiFi, stereo, a single bathroom with tub/shower, full deluxe Cook's kitchen facilities and in suite laundry facilities, for guest use. Daily rate guests, staying over a week, are provided weekly linen changes and cleaning service. Breakfast is not served. Also for daily rate guests', the suite is provisioned with, fresh fruit and baking, coffee and tea preparation supplies for a complimentary, self catered, continental breakfast, for the first morning. Beyond that, we recommend the many wonderful restaurants, within walking distance. There is always the option of using the suite's well-equipped cooking facilities for preparing meals. Description:Tulip House is a 1912 character house located on Point Grey Road in the quiet neighborhood of Kitsilano in Vancouver. It is situated across the street of a small city park overlooking the ocean, Stanley Park and the North Shore Mountains and it is just minutes away from Downtown and the University of British Columbia. Your suite is the entire garden level of the house (approx. 1000 sq.ft./100 sq. metres) with a south facing patio. All rooms have good sized windows and are bright and cheery. The suite has 2 bedrooms with linen provided, bathroom with shower and tub, cozy living room with fireplace, kitchen with granite countertops, a gas range, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and all the amenities needed to cook a wonderful meal. Description:Our oceanfront holiday home, BUOY-O-BUOY, is located just south of the 49th Parallel and mid-way between the quaint seaside towns of Chemainus and Ladysmith on the east side of Vancouver Island. BUOY-O-BUOY is five minutes from two marinas, and just one and a half hours north of Victoria.The home has a low bank leading to a beach with soft sand, small pebbles and sea shells. The beach varies in size - 12.8 foot tides - and provides an attractive place for long strolls. This bright, north facing home has beautiful views of the ocean, mountains and surrounding islands.All rooms at BUOY-O-BUOY are fully furnished, decorated and include linens. The home has four spacious bedrooms, (1 King, 2 Queens and a pair of twins) two of which have a view of the ocean. There are two full bathrooms with a tub in the upstairs suite and a shower in the downstairs suite.The house also includes a living room with high ceiling glass windows and a gas fireplace, family/games room with a gas fireplace and 50 plasma television, dining room facing the ocean with a 6 foot wide deck, a kitchen complete with all appliances and utensils and a fully equipped laundry room.For your enjoyment, utilities such as cable TV and light speed internet capability, telephone and a BBQ are included during your stay.
