Bring your bike or borrow one of the house mountain bikes to explore downtown, the lake and the surrounding mountain parks. There are some great hiking or mtn bike trails right out the door. Rent a boat at the lake in summer or ice skates in the winter. Echo Mountain, our local ski area is small but a great place to introduce yourself to Colorado skiing. An easy day drive to other ski areas -- Loveland, A-Basin, Keystone, Winter Park, Copper Mtn, Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Ski Cooper. This one bedroom private cabin is rustic yet newly remodeled in a charming way. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit or the deck for a BBQ or relaxing in the mountain sun. Pets are allowed but must be pre approved. Running water in summer but must be carried from a nearby spigot in winter. Slightly undersized shower with limited hot water (solar during sunny hours), composting toilet and small electric heater. Full size bed in bedroom, twin in main room. Description:Clean one-room garden house with wood stove near the Cache La Poudre River and Old Town Fort Collins. Private access and parking in safe and quiet semi-rural neighborhood. Kids and pets welcome in our large fenced yard complete with gardens, a small pond, hammock, 1 dog, 12 chickens, and a cat. We're a young (mid-thirties) couple with a 8 year-old daughter who like to cook, garden, raft, kayak, rock climb, backpack, hike, flyfish, run, knit, and mountain bike and can give you lots of great suggestions for the area (if we don't just join you). We'll let you borrow a bike if you want to take the Poudre River trail two miles to Horsetooth Reservoir trails/bouldering, three miles to Old Town, Odell or New Belgium Brewery. Just three blocks away you can access open space with trails and swimming ponds where you can run your dog off the leash. The Garden House has a comfy Queen sized futon and we can add a cot or inflatable mattress if another bed is needed. Guests can access the bathroom and shower through the back door of the main house (just 5 feet away). There's even a doggy-door so your pet can go in and out as it pleases. Garden House also has WIFI, electricity and electric heater (if you don't want to use the wood stove) but no AC. You're welcome to use the kitchen, stove and fridge. Kayakers and rafters are welcome! We're only 15 minutes to some of the best whitewater in Colorado. The Cache La Poudre River is protected as one of the last Wild and Scenic rivers in the United States.... more info >>

Description:This is a fabulous newly renovated studio condo at the Inn at SilverCreek in Granby Colorado. Good for any season, it is less than 1 mile from Sol Vista Ski area and 15 miles from Winterpark Ski area. It is also very near Grand Lake, Lake Granby, Hot Sulpher Springs, and Rocky Mountain National Park. The Apt: The apt is newly renovated with stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and tile in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a flat screen LCD TV with cable, a fireplace, and a very nice outdoor patio. The apt has outdoor access as well as access through the hotel. The apt sleeps 4 with a queen bed, and a futon that folds out into a double bed. Although there are not separate rooms, the bed can be curtained off to make a separate sleeping area from the futon. The apt. is fully furnished and the kitchen stocked with everything but the food! There is wi-fi available. At the Inn: There is a gym in the Inn, wi-fi in the lobby, a restaurant that is open for dinner and drinks, a small convenience store, a steam room, hot tub, and pool. There is a grocery store across the street as well as several restaurants that deliver in the area. There are tennis courts and golf courses available for use in the summer. The condo is but a short drive from the splendor of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Sol Vista ski area is right next door, and it is also 10 minutes from Winterpark Ski area, and Hot Sulphur Springs. A nice quiet retreat into the beautiful outdoors.
