Built in 1918 this home has retained some features while being refurbished with modern in facilities. Twee Gevels (Two Gabels) is situated halfway between Kalk Bay and Muizenberg and offers a spacious and luxurious home optimizing the uninterrupted sea views while being in close proximity of all tourist attractions False Bay area has to offer. Twee Gevels is situated across the road from the beach with closest swimming area 100 meters away. The living areas of this grand old lady as well as three bedrooms offer sea views. A sea facing veranda across the width of the house is ideal for outdoor living while a library/2nd lounge with authentic fire place provides a cosy space in less than perfect weather conditions. The villa has been furnished to reflect the colours and clean lines of the ocean. From Muizenburg to Kalk Bay is a busy main street with market stalls, antique shops, art galleries as well stalls on the pavements. Description:Hello, I have a 1 bedroom apartment that can be rented on a temporary basis anywhere from a couple nights to a couple weeks or possibly a little longer. I also rent out just the master bedroom or a private two bedroom apartment which you can see if you click on my picture and scroll down. The apartment has the master bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, the big outdoor patio, and a huge roof deck which has gorgeous views day or night. The living room has a LCD projector and a large 6' x 6' movie screen which rolls down and back up when not in use. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including crushed marble countertops, dishwasher, gas stove, disposal, juicer, and even a cute built-in wine rack. It has everything one might need to bake or make a gourmet meal. The bath is finished in marble, has a pedestal sink, a deluge showerhead, and a marble bench in the shower in case you feel like taking a steam bath. The master bedroom is big and has a queen size bed, plenty of storage in the closet, bookcase, bureau, and bedside tables. It has a big sliding glass door that opens onto a 15ft x 20ft garden patio with BBQ and fire-pit. The apartment is about a 5 minute drive from either the 101 or 280 freeway and a 5 minute walk to grocery stores, a hardware store, fruit market, post office, UPS, CPMC/St. Luke's hospital, museums, galleries, places for kids, all kinds of restaurants, a swimming pool, banks, clubs, underground places, movie theaters, fun dives, bookstores, parks, clothing stores, thrift shops, and the library. In other words, everything is very convenient! MUNI / Public transportation is half a block away on Mission Street or Valencia, BART is 5 blocks away, and the J Church street car is 2 blocks away. If you park west of my apartment you only have to move your car once a week for street cleaning the rest is 2 hour parking or metered. There is also a big roof deck for everyone to use with BBQ, weights and a weight bench, and of course, incredible views day or night. I'm about a 30 minute walk to San Francisco General Hospital or a 10 minute bike ride and UCSF has free shuttles that go to all their other sites. That's the closest shuttle pickup of the many they have around town in case you're coming to SF for a fellowship or internship. 's closest shuttle pickup is only three blocks away in case you're here to work there for either an internship or permanently, or if you want to use that service to get you down the peninsula, (for example, I believe they have a stop in Palo Alto). Description:Welcome! We have a Beautiful well lit home, only a block from the Ballona creek bike path. There are bikes available for your use as well! A 2 seater/tandem bike and a single beach cruise bike. Place is 3 miles to Venice beach or Playa del rey beaches. Very conveniently located only a few blocks from the 90 freeway (only freeway in LA with out traffic!) Easy 90 and 405 freeway access allows quick rides to hollywood, Redondo beach, Longbeach, airport etc. Bus lines and bike paths lead the 3 miles to Venice beach, The Marina, Santa monica, etc. The place is clean and has a front and back patio (ok to smoke outside only) and shared yard. One parking space is avilalble in gated driveway and street parking is easy. There is 3 bedrooms and a 4th bedroom/office space with sleeping space attached off of the 3rd bedroom. 1st bedroom has a California King sized bed (can very comfortably sleep 3) 2nd room is a kids room (kid friendly with toys and a small kid bed) 3rd room has a queen sized bed for 2 people, 4th room has Queen sized air bed that sleeps 2. A highly stylish 145 m2 Loft style Parisian apartment well located in Paris just 5 mins from Gare Du Nord Paris ( Eurostar, Thalys, ICE ) and 50 mins from both airport (Orly, CDG ) Also very easy to get to Parc des expositions for people to come to paris for the trade show. Two mins walk from the nearest metro station on line 5. It takes 15 mins to central Paris (Chatelet, Hotel de ville, marais, notre dame ) 30 mins to Eiffel Tower. In the neighborhood there is a beautiful parc des buttes chaumont within 5 mins by walking. Renovated from an ancient atelier (workshop) with glass ceiling on the roof top and an open plan kitchen and living room (40 square meters )where you can cook and eat. Description:Hello, I have a private 2 bedroom apartment for rent in the Sunny Mission District. I also rent just the master bedroom or a private 1 bedroom apartment which you can see by clicking on my picture and scrolling down that page. The apartment has one master bedroom, a second bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, the big outdoor patio, and a huge roof deck which has gorgeous views day or night. The living room has a LCD projector and a large 6' x 6' movie screen which rolls down and back up when not in use. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including crushed marble countertops, dishwasher, gas stove, disposal, juicer, and even a cute built-in wine rack. It has everything one might need to bake or make a gourmet meal. The bath is finished in marble, has a pedestal sink, a deluge showerhead, and a marble bench in the shower in case you feel like a steam bath. The master bedroom is big and has a queen size bed, plenty of storage in the closet, bookcase, bureau, and bedside tables. It has a big sliding glass door that opens onto a 15ft x 20ft garden patio with BBQ and fire-pit. The second bedroom has a large window which faces a small green area, queen size bed, and a custom-made mini armoire/closet that locks for security. The apartment is about a 5 minute drive from either the 101 or 280 freeway and a 5 minute walk to grocery stores, a hardware store, fruit market, post office, UPS, CPMC/St. Luke's Hospital, museums, galleries, places for kids, all kinds of restaurants, a swimming pool, banks, clubs, underground places, a movie theater, fun dives, bookstores, parks, clothing stores, thrift shops, and the library. In other words, everything is very close and convenient. MUNI / Public transportation is half a block away on Mission Street or Valencia, BART is 5 blocks away, and the J Church street car is 2 blocks away. Downtown can be reached in about 20-25 minutes by public transportation. If you park west of my apartment you only have to move your car once a week for street cleaning the rest is 2 hour parking or metered. There is also a big roof deck for everyone to use with BBQ, weights, a weight bench, and of course, incredible views. I'm about a 30 minute walk to San Francisco General Hospital or a 10 minute bike ride and UCSF has free shuttles that go to all their other sites. That is the closest shuttle pickup just in case you're coming to SF for a fellowship or internship. 's closest shuttle pickup is only three blocks away in case you're here to work there either for an internship or permanently, or if you want to use that service to get down the peninsula, (for example, I believe they have a stop at Stanford/Palo Alto). All the photos are recent (Sept Nov 2011 and Jan 2012) and I like to update them to reflect the current season and changes in furniture, objects and plants....it's not a frozen scenario. -Calm The apt is very quiet with large courtyard windows and terrace. Having your place located in this kind of courtyard is NOT irrelevant.
