Description:Monthly rental for 1 person $965/month. We prefer one month stay minimum. Your private room in a 4 bedroom apt in the heart of Park Slope. With plenty of space to relax, sit and enjoy staying at home, this room is ideal for 1 person wishing to stay in a great neighborhood, with quick access to Manhattan. The subway is 1 block away R train at Prospect Ave stop. 35 minutes ride to Times Square / Midtown The bedroom is small but cozy with all needed for a nice stay. Clothes cabinet Laptop station to work in the bedroom. Fresh decor, with giant poster. All linens are furnished: bed sheets, conforter and a towell. The shared amenities include a separate and fully furnished kitchen, a dining area, a lounge area. The apartment is very sunny all day with 2 exposure: East and West, Sun in the bedroom in the morning and in the lounge all afternoon. You can enjoy a great view: Sunset on the Statue of Liberty and view on Downtown Manhattan. The apt is the entire 3rd and last floor of classic Brooklyn brownstone. There is only 2 apartments in the building, including this one. The building is old and not fancy at all, but the apartment is very nice and well maintained. The entire place has been completely renovated February 2012, after previous guests trashed it, which lead to complety redo the place and impose stricter house rules. Renovations on February 2012 include: New furnitures, new paint, new beds, new tiles on floor, bathroom and kitchen, new linens for all rooms. About the neighborhood: The subway is 1 block away There is a supermarket across the street from the apartment. Open 24 hours: 2 diners, 2 pharmacies, 2 delis. plenty of bars, live music. Prospect Park is 3 blocks away. The Pavillion movie theatre is 3 blocks away. Please read the house rules. A cleaning schedule is define and every roommate must participate in the process: cleaning the shared space once a month. Also, please clean the bathroom. Once again, cleaning utensils are in the kitchen sink cabinet. Please replenish toilet paper and paper towel rolls with extras from the bedroom closet. Thank you. Trash and recyclable items must be disposed by the guest prior to vacating premises through disposal chute located on same floor (left of the Exit sign before elevators) . For monthly rentals, security deposit of $200 CAD is required and entire rent for the stay has to be pre paid. As well, all utensils/cleaning products used have to be replenished by the guest. Operating manuals for appliances as well as access for wifi internet will be available at the suite. No smoking, pets, or children allowed. All electrical appliance and lighting system must be turned off when not in use. Air conditioning and heating system must be turned off when balcony door or windows are open.
