Description:Hello all, Thank you for considering me as your host. I work during the week so please contact me before booking a reservation with information about your arrival time, and how many guests are in your party. In general arrivals during the day are inconvenient for me but in most cases I can make arrangements. I will decline reservations without this information. My rental is a temporary roommate rental. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, there is a bus about 2 blocks away from the house. The trip to the nearest subway is 20 minutes and the trip to Manhattan is about 40 minutes. I have two indoors only cats. My cats are used to run of the house and are curious and friendly. If you're unused to cats, allergic or afraid of cats you might not be comfortable staying with us. The nightly rate includes bath towels and bedclothes, (linen,blanket/comforter) wireless internet access, kitchen use ( microwave, toaster, stove, coffeemaker, cutlery, flatware, drink ware). Description:At the third floor of a historical building. The house was built in 1516 and got renovated in 2009. It is located in the heart of the historical centre of the city and lots of main sightseeing attractions and markets are at extremely easy walking distance. THis house is a unique destination, a place full of soul and personality. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of emotional connection between the place and the guests. One, where the guest feels at home, at ease. To that end, a local Sicilian artist was appointed to define the lay out of the apartment, the interior and its decoration. Every single object has its own story, whether it s a piece of wood, a cupboard or a table. To dye the walls only natural colours were used. Most items used for the decoration are either second hand objects which were carefully renovated or come from far away, such as Africa, Middle East, India or Central America. The blend of carefully chosen styles gives an ethnic touch to the apartment and since there are several art pieces and paintings exposed it s kind of an ethno art house. The apartment surface is of roughly 100m2 with a magnificent wooden floor, and it is composed by a big living hall, a bedroom, a marvellous fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with tub and a laundry corner. All the rooms are communicating, apart from the bathroom, no doors inside. The many windows and three balconies fill the flat with natural light, the more than 4m height ceiling increases the feeling of light and vastness. It is possible to enquire for additional info, i.e. fares can change according to number of people, period, last minute request. We are very flexible and likes to interact with her guests. The bedroom is on the ground floor with disabled access via the garden, with a small table, chairs and sunshade for meals.. Side view across the garden and cypress trees to the wooded hills beyond. Nestling in the Tuscan hills at a height of 450 metres in an unspoiled valley of the Mugello region halfway up Monte Giove (Mount Jove), this is the farmhouse of Elizabeth and Luigi. The farmhouse has been converted with central heating throughout and has three double letting rooms all en suite maintaining their original characteristics, and a double bedroom with large bathroom for the disabled on the ground floor. The barn has been converted into two maisonettes sleeping 2 to 6 people with individual central heating. The swimming pool is the ideal place for relax yourself and enjoying a wonderful landscape. The surrounding countryside is teeming with wildlife and the views are stunning where one can go trekking or cycling by mountain bike, fishing in the lakes or horse riding through the woods. At the top of Monte Giovi is a restaurant at “Tamburino”serving lunches and dinner, and near the farm is a pizzeria which is open on Saturdays and Sundays with dancing facilities in the summer. At the bottom of the road that leads to the farm is another pizzeria alongside a fishing lake which is open each evening . A few kilometres away is the village of La Rufina home of the famous wine which takes its name from this area with small restaurants and shops. There is a station at La Rufina so you can leave your car – parking is free – with frequent trains to and from the city of Florence that take less than half an hour.
