The village is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy (rice) fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting water ways and canals adorned with spices and medicinal plants. It is an ideal place to explore Kerala's traditions, real village life and to stay for a period in a calm and quiet pollution free zone. The village is decorated with ancient Christian churches, Hindu temples, country and snake boats. These snake boats can carry more than 100 rowers at a time. A boat journey through the back waters will be an unforgettable event. Our hospitality begins right from when the guest arrives in Kerala. Be it by bus, train or plane we personally meet our guests and escort them to our hide away retreat. Once here at our homestay we ensure the new found guests feel right at home. Our guest accommodation is in a separate cottage of 4 basic, mosquito free rooms adjacent to the house where we live. So our guests will get their own privacy and freedom there. All rooms have attached bathrooms with western toilets and a shower with hot and cold water. Each room has its own entrance with veranda, and a natural garden in front with hammocks and swings. Home made vegetarian, vegan and non vegetarian food, as per your requirements, is served in the main hall of our house. All the food is freshly made using organic and local produce whenever possible. From the main house you can also access the Internet from our computer (broadband connection), use the phone, cable TV etc. Our home is conveniently located for backwater cruises in and around Kumarakom and Alappuzha (Alleppey) by house boat, country boat, motor boat or even by very cheap Government ferry. You also have the opportunity to s can easily be arranged. Our location is ideal for bird watching as it is surrounded by the backwaters and natural forest. We offer ayurvedic treatment and body massages, and we can arrange yoga classes, dental care and various treatments for a third of the western rate. Description:Available between May 14th and July 14, 2012 Dates Flexible! But I'm hoping to rent for at least one and 1/2 months total 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath house 2000 square feet (Home in fact has four bedrooms but two of those rooms are used now as separate offices there is an air mattress and a fold out couch if you need more beds!) We call this place Chateau Pheasant because a beautiful male pheasant frequents the backyard during the summers, when the blueberry and blackberry bushes are heavy with fruit. You'll have the place all to yourself, and you will be wonderfully comfortable and charmed by the lush beauty of this Salem neighborhood. Salem, the capitol of Oregon, is just 45 minutes from Portland-- a very easy drive. You are also an hour from the gorgeous Oregon coast. The local train station is nearby and traveling to Portland is cheap and easy. But even better, you are right in the middle of the Willamette Valley Pinot country, will scores of vineyards and breweries, farm to table restaurants, and hiking trails. My favorite local hike is Silver falls: just 20 minutes away and containing no less than 10 huge waterfalls in an 8 mile hike. This beautifully maintained and furnished home in the safe and lovely Salem neighborhood of Fairmount Hills (the best neighborhood in town) is available for a summer sublet when Oregon is nearly paradise. Sun every day, no bugs, and a constant temperature of about 70 degrees. The house includes three floors and plenty of privacy for guests! Across the street from lush Bush Park and down the road from Trader Joe's grocery. A stone's throw from Willamette University and downtown Salem, which has some great restaurants. Excellent views of the Willamette Valley and nearby wine country from the top of our street! Description:We offer 2 separate small houses fully furnished and private on a large ancient silk farm in the south of France. They generally rent by the week but we will consider renting for a minimum of 5 nights or for longer periods. The Mazet Le Canard Sauvage accommodates 3 persons ( a 2 persons bed and a single bed in the 2d bedroom) for 55 euros per nights.(or 350 per week Saturday to Saturday). For an additional 10 euros per night we can add a second one-person bed. The place has a nice private terrace with outdoors furniture and a barbecue. The Mazet La Glycine is smaller with a tiny kitchen but it has a bedroom with a double bed and a sitting room with a loft, Best for 2 persons but it can accommodate 3 persons. Description:You will have your own appartment on a small horsefarm on swdens biggest island. the beach is 5 km from the house. The appartment is fully furnished, has one bedroom with 3 beds, a kitchen with elecrtical cooker, freezer, fridge... and a bathroom with a bathingtube. The location is very calm and peacefull and invites for long walks and relaxiation. The nearby village Hemse is 7 km away and offers basic shopping opportunity, swimmingpool, restaurants, Coffee/Bar, fresh fish and so on. 4 km from the farm you'll find a foodstore. One week in August, medieval times return to the island and everybody will dress up in that style in thecapital city Visby and a lot of activities like that will be located all over the island. If you are a fan of Pippi Longstocking you will be able to visit her house and the places where the movie was shot. I'm living in the farmhouse and are happy to tell you all the spots to visit in the area like old graves reaching 7m of hight, or where to by local food, nice restaurants and the best beaches. I offer horsebackriding for children and I can show you the best paths to use for a tour on bike and tell you where to rent a car. My native language is german. The price is per person.
