Description:Nestled in four acres in a tranquil hillside position and surrounded by woodland, farms and orchards with panoramic views of the Quercy countryside, the farmhouse, built in 1700, and the barn have been tastefully restored using traditional methods both properties have the wonderful white stone walls and beamed ceilings characteristic of the area, and are beautifully furnished. Roquecor (2km) has a restaurant and shops and Montaigu de Quercy (5km) has a larger range of shops and restaurants and leisure lake, with swimming, boating and picnic facilities. Nearest main towns: Villeneuve sur Lot - 25 minutes. The main entrance to the house is through the large sun-room which overlooks the long stone front terrace, which has a small covered dining barn with a summer kitchen. The lovely light sun-room opens into the eat-in-kitchen that is fully equipped with electric hob, oven, two fridges and a freezer. The kitchen leads into the spacious comfortable sitting and dining room that has a central wood burning stove, telephone, and a door also leading onto the front terrace, that is ideal for alfresco meals. There is WiFi throughout the property. Opposite the farmhouse is the barn which was very recently restored and now offers a very spacious double bedroom with French style bed, a small sitting room, a shower-room with wc and basin and a twin bedroom situated on the second floor. The utility room in the barn has a washing machine, dryer, and the central heating boiler. The terraced pool is surrounded by lavender bushes and mature trees and shrubs. Description:Stunning one bedroom flat on a leafy street, near to Queenspark and all the joys of this charming London area. Wonderful bars, delis, supermarkets, restaurants are all within walking distance of the flat and every Sunday, the award winning Queenspark Farmers market is a delight of fresh produce and delicious cooking. There is also an excellent local bookshop and the boutique Iris is well worth a look! Central London is about 10 minutes away and transport links are excellent both by underground and bus. Both Queenspark and Kilburn Park Stations are about 5minutes walk. ( Bakerloo line). The overground provides fast links to the East Ends and to Stratford for the Olympics. Notting Hill and Portobello Market are also very close. The flat has wonderful high cellings, wooden floors throughout and huge windows, giving it a bright and airy feel. It has been very recently renovated and painted and is spotless. There is no bath, but a very good shower and large wet-room with underfloor heating. In the sitting room, there is a wood burning stove for chilly evenings ( as well as central heating throughout, of course!). There is a very comfortable enormous double bed in the bedroom, and if required, somebody could sleep on the sofa in the sitting room: I have masses of delicious bedding to make a cosy nest. I can also provide a double blow up mattress if needed! There is a fully fitted kitchen, wiFi, TV and a record player to which you can hook up your ipod. Bordering the Dronne River, this self-catering accommodation near Chenaud has a peaceful and pleasant setting in the beautiful countryside. Incredible, stunning, and lovingly restored, this is just the place to spend the holidays in France! n n2.6 hectares (6.4 acres): The chateau was built in the 17th century, with the foundation dating back to 1090. In the 18th and 19th century the chateau was enlarged with 2 more parts. All sections are attached to each other with 3-foot thick walls. The different styles of the various constructions are visible, which lends an attractive rambling aspect to the building. For example, in the 17th century the cellar, now used for wine storage, was the kitchen. The original details are still visible. The property is accessed via a quiet little road that connects two small villages. The graveled courtyard leads to the house, barn and garden. The backyard overlooks the winding Dronne River where there is a dock (4m x 7m) where guests can sit and to enjoy the riverside and the canoes passing by. The large garden is completely private, the north, south and west sides consist of typical large French walls, the river Dronne is on the east side of the property. The south of the property has a splendid view of the 12th century Roman church of Chenaud. There is garden furniture in both sunny and shaded areas of the garden. There are huge 100-year old oak and line trees, as well as apple, peach, cherry, prune and chestnut trees. New plantain trees have been planted. At the far end of the garden a little pond. nThis apartment is located in the part of the chateau built in the 17th century. This section has been tastefully decorated with antiques and exquisite fabrics, combined with pieces of modern European art. n n(120m2) Ground floor: On the ground floor is the living area, including a living/dining room, kitchen an entrance hall and guest bathroom. From the entrance hall one can access the guest bathroom with a WC and sink, as well as the washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board (located in a closet). Also from the entrance one can access the living/dining room and the fully equipped kitchen. The living room is the oldest part of the chateau, dating back to 1626. The living/dining room decor is modern with antique elements and the room features a wood stove with the furniture surrounding the stove. From the kitchen you can access a large balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. There is a built-in electronic safe. nFirst floor: A staircase goes to the first floor, where there are two double bedrooms, each with king-size beds (or twin beds, depending upon the preference).
