Description:Architect designed, timber frame house built in 2005, with a floor area of approximately 3,000 sq. ft. Three bedrooms are on the lower floor, together with laundry facilities, access to the hot tub, and a double garage. A new, fourth bedroom recently added. The first floor is open plan with vaulted ceilings and large windows with views to the mountains and out across the Columbia River valley. There is a large lounge area with satellite TV, DVD, a formal and informal eating area, the den, and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. There is a covered deck at the front of the property suitable for BBQs. The house is set in its own plot with simply landscaped gardens and its own locally crafted 'Inukshuk'. The property is situated about 300m from the base of the main gondola giving access to the ski and mountain bike terrain of the Kicking Horse mountain. It is a 10 minute drive from an excellent golf course in Golden.
