Your room, however will be quite comfortable, if a little spartan!** Hestia House Your home away from home Hestia is the ancient Greek goddess of the hearth, architecture, and of the right ordering of domesticity and the family. THE LOCATION Situated in the heart of the trendy Junction area, the apartment is perched above a quiet storefront and easily accessible by public transit or by car. There is a bus stop 2 doors down, $2 per night public parking for your car, and easy access to major highways and Toronto's Pearson Airport. A 5 minute bus ride takes you to the metro station (or a 10 minute walk), and it's only 20 minutes into the downtown core of Toronto. The Junction is one of Toronto's most vibrant communities, featuring a wide selection of restaurants, bars, bistros, shopping and coffee shops in a friendly environment. Remove yourself from the hustle and bustle of downtown and relax at one of the fine Junction establishments in the evening, or take a 15 minute walk to the beautiful High Park or Bloor West Village, another great shopping & culture spot in Toronto. The sleeping portion of the room is curtained off for privacy. The remainder of the space is used as my office and as the access point to the back patio. When you are sleeping in The Aerie it is off limits to everyone else. A comfortable single bed outfitted with fresh linens and pillows and a small dresser are there for your comfort. Wireless internet and the common areas are at your disposal during your stay. Towels are included.
