Description:This vacation rental in Sweden is realy nice. It's a cute red cottage with lovely views of the sea and the surrounding country side. The cottage was thoroughly renovated in the spring 2008, all bed rooms, living room and the bath room is all new. The bath room is all tiled and a very modern touch in the calm and old surroundings. Disposition ground level: 1. Kitchen with dining area for 6, and a seaview. 2. Living room with a comfortable sofa (sofabed), TV(32 inch LCD) and a nice view of the sea. Description:Before booking please email me first with information on you and the reason for your trip. This apartment is also listed on another site so I want to make sure that it is available. This apartment is on the lower floor of my house. There are 3 bedrooms, a tv room with a sleeper sofa, living room, kitchen, laundry room and sauna. The garden is large and wonderful for children. There is a swing set, sandbox and a trampoline in the summertime. The garden is shared with the owners of the house. The apartment is close to the city center, 7 minutes by car or bus. It is also in walking distance to Laugardalur Park, where you will find a Farm Animal Park for children, Botanical Gardens, a wonderful swimming pool and Cafe Flora in the summertime. Description:Cosy house with 2 small gardens. Enjoy your morning coffee in the front garden and the afternoon sun in the backyard where you can BBQ. The garden has seating for 8 people and a sandbox. The house is divided on 3 floors, with access to the backyard directly from the kitchen. In the lounge there is plenty of room around the dining table with a long bench and chairs, and 2 highchairs for children. The living room also has a sofa, a rocking chair and a hammock to relax in, as well as wood stove for cool evenings. There are separate toilets on two floors and a separate bathroom with tub and heated floor. Situated on a quiet street with little traffic. The street and surrounding streets is super child friendly. At the end of our street, there is a play area. There is free street parking. On the bike there is 5 min. to the beach or Fælledparken (large green park) and 15 minutes to downtown. There are 2 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop and just under 10 minutes walk to the train station. In one of the neighborhood's houses are a nice design cafe with organic products and brunch or good bread and coffe to go. There are 4 supermarkets within 5 minutes walk.... more info >>

Description:The apartment is a modest but fully equipped at the best possible location in the Reykjavík City Center. Everything you need and wish to experience in the Reykjavík Central area is within 15 min. walking distance, and the Reykjavik Central Station for Public Transport (Hlemmur) is just around the corner (there is also a taxi stand there). A supermarket open 24/7 is is within 5 min. walking distance. The Reykjavík nightlife will not disturb your sleep, but if you wish to enjoy it, it is only 10 min. walk. Also, the largest swimming pool in Reykjavik (Laugardalslaug) is in 15min walking distance (away from the downtown area). It has two bedrooms and a living room. To be clear on the beds, then there is a sleeping couch in the living room for one or two people. In the bigger bedroom there is a double bed for one or two people. In the smaller bedroom there is a bed for one person. Also, we have bought a sleeping couch (190x120cm) to put in the smaller bedroom as a 4th bed, but since we wont set it in there until summer, we have no picture of it yet. But it is very nice. :) Also, we can use an easily foldable guest bed or add matresses on the floor in the living room for an extra person. For a group of 5 to 7 people to stay here, some of them must be sharing a bed or staying on a guest bed or matresses, which are ok, but maybe not of guesthouse quality. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and access to washing machine in the basement is possible at no charge (i just have show the guests which machine belongs to this apartment). The apartment has wireless high speed internet - please feel free to bring your laptops. :) Smoking is ONLY allowed on the balcony, and please dont throw cigarette stubs from the balcony, cause we are very happy about the garden in the back. :) This apartment cannot acommodate young children. The host of course does not live in the apartment while it is rented out. It is often possible to book it with a short notice. In case you plan to use a car, it is usually NOT a problem to park very close to the apartment. (It is often a problem in downtown Reykjavík). Right across the street there is a government office building whose staff leave around 16:00, leaving extra parking lots for the locals. Also, close by are the headquarters for the Freemasons of Iceland. They have a nice parking lot which is free to the public until 18:00 in the day. On arrival or departure times, we have no strict rules, but if you feel you need to arrive very early in the morning or depart late in the evening, we prefer that you to communicate that clearly to us before making a reservation to avoid confusion and problems for other guests. If you contact me or make a reservation request, i will always answer, and i try to answer as soon as possible, but i am not always online. On daytime i will often answer within a few minutes, and in most cases within the hour, but there might be times where a few hours will pass. Also, if you´re contacting me, I think it´s nice to a little bit about my guests and the purpose of their stay. :) Please note that BSÍ Umferdamidstodin, where the Flybus from Keflavík Airport stops, is not the central station for Reykjavík Public Transport (Hlemmur). The Flybus stops about 1.5 km away. It costs 12-22$ to take a Taxi from the line there, depending on size and time, and since I don´t own a car I cannot offer to pick guests up.... more info >>

Description:Our home is located close to Reykjavik downtown area. It's only a 3 min walk from the central bus station Hlemmur but it´s still located in a quiet residential area. It is a 4 bedroom apartment on two floors and is well suited for families with kids. There are two bedrooms downstairs, the master bedroom with a double bed and the teenage room with a 140 cm wide bunk bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with 90 cm wide bed and another with a 120 cm bed. The appartment comes equipped with all the usual modern stuff, there is a computer and internet available, washing machine in the downstairs laundry room, well equipped kitchen, dishwasher and two bathrooms. Dining table in the dining room can be extended to seat 10 people. There is a small balcony facing east with a gas barbeque. Free easy parking on the street. I’m listing all possible downsides to prevent any disappointments. To enter the second bedroom you go through the master bedroom or the stairwell that is shared with the other apartment in the building. The lower floor does not have full ceiling height. This differs from room to room. From about 1,9m – 2,3m. The stair between the floors is steep so it may not suite people with disabilities. This is an old (1930) house with two apartments. And even though it is a concrete building loud sounds carry between the apartments. So please be considered of my neighbors.... more info >>

Description:Nice and central located apartment in a very nice residential area just 15 minutes walking distance from Tivoli and the city center, as well as the pulsating areas of Vesterbro and Noerrebro. 5 minutes walk from the Metro Station 'Forum' which takes you direct to the city center with one or two stops, 7 stops to the Beach and 11 stops to the airport. Shopping, cafés, restaurants, nice take away places and park around the corner. Parking in front of the building. You can use the Metro in order to get to/from the airport. The trip takes 17 minutes and another 5 minutes to walk from Forum to the apartment. I rent out my entire apartment. It has four bed rooms (two of them minor), combined kitchen/dining room, living room. Two toilets and a bathroom with washing machine and tumble drier at your disposal.
