If you fancy a picnic on a sunny day, the Common is only a few minutes walk from the flat too and offers ponds and golf courses. nFor the Wimbledon Tennis Championships every June and July, it is only a 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride. For transport throughout the year, you have Wimbledon tube station a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction, which joins the District line. This line can take you to South Kensington in 22 minutes for the shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, and some of London's best museums are here too. The Victoria & Albert, the Natural History and the Science Museum are just around the corner from this tube station.
