Description:My fully furnished studio is in downtown Oakland in a quiet, yet urban neighborhood between City Center and Lake Merritt. There are 3 BART (subway) stations within easy walking distance, as well as buses to Berkeley and San Francisco. My place is close to shopping, restaurants, bars/pubs, ArtMurmur, the Main Library, Lake Merritt and farmers' markets, the Oakland Museum, the marinas for boat rentals and Jack London Square. There is coin-op laundry in my building, bike parking, wi-fi, and a cuddly cat. There is a balcony and lots of sun. There is usually pretty easy street parking if you have a car. Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome for short stays. My place easily sleeps 3. There is a double bed and a sleeper-sofa. I do live in the house and I'm happy to host 1-3 people. Sometimes I go on vacation for extended periods (I will make sure I edit the posting) and would be willing to rent while I'm not there, I'd just like you to arrive while I'm still there so that I can show you the ropes. I am a super host for a single or a couple if you don’t mind sharing the space (about 450 sq ft) with me. Downtown Oakland is really underrated! There are some amazing restaurants, live music, concert venues, and bars nearby. There is always something fun happening around the Lake. Supremely located on Bankers Hill. 5 min bike ride to Downtown (or 20 min walk), 5 min walk to Little Italy (to the west, and a few more blocks down to the harbor) and Balboa Park (to the east)(the zoo and museums), 10 min bike ride to Hillcrest and Mission Hills. A little over 2 miles to the airport. Street parking only. You can use my skateboard if you promise not to break or lose it. I'd prefer you not use my bike (you probably won't fit it anyway—I'm kinda short), unless I can confirm your urban cycling abilities (for safety reasons). Almost full kitchen. Stove, oven, microwave, basic blender, fridge, but my espresso machine broke recently. I've just been boiling water and dripping it through the espresso thing. One bathroom. Coin-op washer and dryer outside. Sofabed that fits two. I have two blankets, one pillow. Only thing is I'm right on the flight path. You can see and hear the arriving airplanes. But they stop around midnight. Depending on how you are, length of time to get used to this varies. (My friend sat at my desk for a whole day and got used to it quick. Description:I am away traveling abroad, so you can have the place to yourself. It is a single apt with corner view on the 2nd floor in Los Angeles south of Silverlake. and north of Wilshire. Close to the Metro and public transportation. I wont be there to host but my neighbors are fabulous. so there a lots of vegetarian dinners and group bike rides. I would like to try for 2 months but I might be away February also. It has a full kitchen and bathroom with a tub.It's big enough for a couple but remember it is a single. It's a really good space for one creative person because it has lots of light and a good view. Description:Hey travelers! Thanks for checking us out! We have a huge 800 sq ft 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in the middle of Downtown Berkeley. The location simply cannot be beat (corner of MLK and University) - a five minute (or less) walk to BART, movie theatres, gyms, bars, and Cal! The place itself is sort of funky - sits nicely on top of a sushi restaurant and has super high ceilings. Inside you'll find a huge living room stacked with two large couches (one large enough to sleep on) and a gigantic flat screen tv. Help yourself to unlimited cable, dvds and books galore! The kitchen and bedroom are set away from the living room so you can be loud in one room without disturbing the other. The bedroom is furnished with a full size bed and plenty of floor space for a blow up mattress or for people who just really love sleeping on the floor. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything people need in kitchens. We have an electric stove :( but we make up for it with our incredible kitchen aid mixer. Bake away! This apartment is is clean, safe, and in a fabulous location. It may not be the fanciest thing out there - but you really can't beat the price (which could potentially be negotiable). We have two weeks free in August (8th-22) where you can rent the whole house from us. Otherwise we can rent out the couch to individuals for $20-30 a night. In which case, it's important to note that Heather and I are super awesome/boring young humans who work all the time, but smile just as much. Sorry, dudes, no smoking. Thanks for reading!
