Description:Walk out the front door to the smell of the sweet olive tree or night jasmine in the neighborhood. Perfect location in the popular uptown historic Riverbend area. Just off the St Charles streetcar stop in The Black Pearl near Carrollton. Walk to over 40 restaurants, numerous bars and music venues, boutiques and bakeries. Near Maple Leaf Bar and Carrollton Station for live music. Two blocks to Starbucks, La Patisserie french bakery and Satsuma Cafe. Two blocks to the Mississippi River levee trail and walking distance to Audubon Park. Audubon Park boasts one of the best zoos in the US and one of the best golf courses for it's size. Close to Tulane and Loyola Universities which are just across St. Charles Ave from Audubon Park. We are a 20 minute ride on the streetcar to downtown and the French Quarter via beautiful St. Charles Avenue. Fifteen minute ride to the National World Ware II museum. Ten to fifteen minutes by car to the New Orleans Museum of Art in beautiful City Park and Jazzfest. 2 block walk to the Maple Street shops and restaurants. Our guests have come from all over the US, Germany, Australia and Canada. Our 120 year old home was completely restored within the last five years and your accommodations include a two bedroom suite with private bath, 11 ft ceilings, private entrance, wireless internet, and cable TV (but who has time for TV?). Larger bedroom has one queen bed, armoire, secretary desk, small travel library, love seat with coffee table and cable TV. Second smaller bedroom has single bed, love seat and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. (Central air and heat in the house). Clean linens for bed and bath. Dorm size fridge and microwave in suite. Relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate with a Keurig style coffeemaker filled with K cups for your use during your stay. This is a large, clean, relaxing suite with plenty of privacy - and our front porch is great place to chill after exploring the city every day. Laundry use available (Please inquire). It is a private lake so no license is required for fishing off the dock, and we have fishing poles you can borrow! It was designed with a 450 sq ft studio on the east side of the building facing the driveway, and there is a smaller area on the west side of the building facing the lake that is storage (where the hot water heater, furnace, fishing equipment, and etc is stored). ***There is not a window in the guest house that provides a lake view except a small window by the bed with a partial view of the lake*** We've added some seating on the covered deck outside the storage for more privacy if you want to relax and enjoy the lake. We also have a hammock for you to enjoy near the lake. And off the back of the main house is the covered cement patio with the grill, smoker, seating, & etc that you are more than welcome to enjoy as well. Entry to the yard or patio is through the small gate near the patio or through the large gate on the south side of the guest house. ***There is not direct entry to the lake front from the guest house, entry is through the gates only*** I will be as involved or as invisible as you'd like during your stay. What you can expect:A family atmosphere - We have a dog (Joe) who is a border collie mix, and 1 elderly cat that ventures out on the patio on occasion (Mario). Myself (Marcie), my husband (Mike), and our 11 yr old daughter (Savannah) live in the main house. Cleanliness - The guesthouse is cleaned thoroughly, and bedding washed after each guest and we have Terminix services Respect - 'Nuff' said. Attention - I work your standard 8-5 Mon-Fri, but I will be available via phone/email if you need to contact me, and Mike is at home most of the day as well. You won't be ignored, unless you request it. :o) Information - Just let me know what it is, and I'll do my best to help you get anything you need during your stay: recommendations, food items, transportation, etc. Everything from helping you plan your day in Memphis - to relaxing by the lake. Airplanes - We are located very close to the airport. We have grown accustom to FedEx flying their planes at 3am every night, but many of you may find it a bit loud. Suggestions would be: bring ear plugs (we try to keep some stocked in the bathroom drawer), leave the TV on, bring your sound machine (there's a small one in the night stand), or stay out way too late & make yourself so tired you don't hear a thing ,-) Sunsets - you can expect some spectacular ones. Wikipedia defines a B&B as: A bed and breakfast (or B&B) is a small lodging establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast, but usually does not offer other meals. I personally, am not much of a morning person, and Mon-Fri I leave the house around 7am. So a hearty home-cooked breakfast shouldn't be expected. However, I'll stock your room with some of your favorite snack items! Just pick a few and let me know what they are: a box of your favorite cereal & cold skim milk, a bunch of ripe bananas, a bag of potato chips & your favorite soda, chocolate covered peanuts, or whatever you like. And if your heart is set on pancakes and bacon, biscuits, scrambled eggs, or omelets on a Sat or Sun morning, just let me know and I'll set my alarm. ,-)... more info >>

Description:Welcome to Biloxi, Mississippi, known for its white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. There is a number of places to eat within walking distance and not far to the supermarket. You are less than a 5 minute drive to the mall or one of our oldest golf courses and less than 1 hour away from New Orleans. The condo is well kept with tasteful decorations and is on the 1st floor of the two story building. There are two chairs that you can relax on sitting outside the front of the unit. This is a non-smoking, no pets condo which should be a great fit for people with allergies to animals or smoke.The unit comes with full cable TV, DVD player and high speed wifi internet. All utilities are included in the price of the unit.
