Hanalei Moon Beach Cottage is named after the famous Hawaiian song Hanalei Moon, which extols the extreme beauty and romance of the Hanalei Valley under the tropical night sky. The cottage is located on the quiet end of town on Weke Road, right on the beach, on 1/3 acre within walking distance of all the restaurants, shops and galleries. Waterfalls are the back drop for our little beach house. A complete cozy kitchen where you can whip up fabulous Food from the Hanalei Fish Market, the Farmer 's Market, or just make snack to go and eat out every night in one of the great local restaurants. Lime tree just outside your bedroom windows. King size bed and lights for reading at night. It has a seperate bathroom entrance. We have a little library for your use and quite a few great books on Kauai and Hawaii in general. A twin size pune 'e in the central room can accomadate another guest and there is a folding futon for the way youger set. We have a little telescope in the living room so that you can better see boats, whales, and dolphins ply the Bay by day and enjoy the moon and stars at night. If you 're lucky, you may see a moon bow, something I have only seen in Hanalei. It will happen on a night when there are stars, moon and clouds together. If the clouds are sailing by on the gentle trade winds and shedding some tears, the rain will be illuminated by the moon shining from the cloudless part of the sky. Talk about breathtaking! Depending on the brightness of the moon, you may discern the colors of the rainbow. Snorkeling, swimming, diving, paddling, hiking, golfing and a health club are all as close as your front yard, to as far as a 10 minute drive away. Walk across your front yard and look to the left, you 're likely to see no one for a mile. Look to the right and you 'll probably see surfers, volley ball players and beach-goers, with the Hanalei Pier at the far end of the Bay in the background.... more info >>

The loft area has a queen size bed and the living area has a queen size sofa bed. The lanai has a bar table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful Molokai sunset over looking Oahu. Molokai isn't for everyone. It is a very remote island and one of the only islands left in it prestine state. If you are looking for night life, Molokai is not for you. If you are looking to relax and wind down and get away from a busy, chaotic life then Molokai is for you. No stop lights on the island, no traffic, remote beaches, peace and serenity. n nThe only downfall to Molokai is recently The Ranch which owns alot of property on the West End shut down all it's operations. So 3 complexes which includes Kepuhi Beach Resort, Ke Nani Kai and Paniole Hale surround a closed golf course and hotel. Don't let this hinder your stay. The condo complex grounds are beautifully kept, quiet, walking distance to the beach and will still offer you a relaxing time. There is a lot to do on Molokai as well. Mule ride down to Kalaupapa, where Father Damien who once helped the Leper Colony just received his sainthood, snorkeling, diving, surfing, hiking and beautiful secluded beaches. Description:This unit will provide you with a calm and relaxing Hawaiian vacation. It's on the 5th Floor (top floor) and is quiet. The Master Bedroom is quite large with it's own Lanai. This room has two ceiling fans and an extremely comfortable King-sized bed and leaving the Lanai door open will provide you with one of the best nights sleep you've ever had. A plus is that you will wake up to a serenade of tropical birds. There is a TV in the Master Bedroom for your enjoyment. The Master Bathroom has been recently remodeled to replace the tub with a beautiful large glass block walk-in shower. The Second Bathroom is a full bath with a combination shower/tub. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, including a rice cooker and a coffee grinder, just in case you want to get started right away on that Kona Coffee. The furniture in the living room is new and with two more ceiling fans and an air conditioner, you can be comfortable no matter how warm it gets. The Lanais off of the Living Room and the Master Bedroom will provide you with a view of the Mountains as well as a small view of the Kailua Kona Bay. You can also enjoy Cable TV, a DVD player, Stereo and Internet.Kona International Airport is 9 miles away, about a 20 minute drive. A leisurely walk away is Downtown Kona where you can enjoy the Sunset from several good Restaurants - our favorite is The Royal Kona Resort across Alii Drive from the complex.
