Description:This is the most amazing property I have ever seen, Bruce S., Big Key, FL. This place is unbelievable!, Julie & Michael Higgins, Nashville, TN. We enjoy seeing the visitors ' reactions to this property, and enjoy showing it. We are located approximately 35 minutes from Lake Barkley, but all our lakes are private. We, in the past, have sought out and bought unique water feature properties, but we have never seen a property like this. It is truly one-of-a-kind! n nWe have 7 beautiful lakes, 5 ponds, sloughs and creeks, as well as wetlands, on 205 acres located in the heart of Western Kentucky ' 's Big Buck Region, Hopkins County, near the small town on St. Charles. It is surrounded by a few thousand acres of land uninhabited except for occasional hunting by out-of-state owners, and offers large deer and turkey, which we capture on game cameras every year. n nThe 7 lakes range from approximately 400 feet long up to over one-third mile long, with 2 lakes approximately one-quarter mile long each. They vary in depth from 4-5 feet in spots to over 30 feet deep. Some have nice gently sloping bottoms, then drop off sharply. Most are crystal clear, some are less clear. They provide a wide variety of fishing habitat, including deep clear holes, shallow lily-pad covered or edged areas, and mixed areas. Fish in these lakes/ponds include largemouth bass, rock bass, crappie white and black, shellcrackers, Bluegill, mud catfish, and channel catfish. There are some very large fish in these lakes & ponds, up to (maybe more) 10 lb. largemouth, 1 lb. plus bluegill and 40 lb. channel catfish. Some of these lakes I had to explore and find, as they & the roads to them had disappeared in the brush. Some of these fishing holes had not been fished for at least 10-15 years. I had a dozer open up all the lakes & ponds, including a large T-shaped pond deep in the woods. All lakes & ponds now have ample shore fishing areas as well as access to put a boat in. Many times these clear lakes are like an aquarium you can see dozens of fish of different size and types swimming around at one time. Fishing is on a catch and release basis, although there will be no problem keeping some to cook on-site or take home from time to time. n nPLEASE DO NOT EMAIL, CALL ONLY. Description:BayPoint Log Homes' vacation home is a three bedroom, 2 ½ bath fully furnished home built in 2004. It is located in Clam Falls, WI. 7 miles south of Siren in northwest Wisconsin. It is 1 ½ hours from the Twin Cities. Our log home is professionally decorated and completely furnished. Our mattresses are new top-of-the-line pillow-tops. We have a laundry center and fully furnished kitchen. All you will need to provide is your food and beverage. We know you will enjoy the two-person Jacuzzi, fire ring and fabulous gazing at the stars. Our log model is air conditioned and has a gas fireplace in the great room. We have a deck overlooking the lake and a covered country porch with a swing and rocker that is a great place to read and enjoy your favorite beverage. There is a boat launch near our model and Largemouth bass and pan fishing off our dock. Bring your fishing gear along and don’t forget the floating frogs. Bring your boat. You will be able to use our dock. There are also many great fishing lakes within minutes of Clam Falls. BayPoint is excellent for a relaxing get away for scrapbooking, quilting, jewelry making and beading. There is a snowmobile trail right in front of our property and the Gandy Dancer Trail is 8 miles away with connecting trails. BayPoint abuts the State of Wisconsin McKinsey Creek Wildlife Area where you can hunt turkey, deer & grouse as well as trout fish in the Clam River and McKinsey Creek (Both are Class 1 Streams). We have a pheasant club with sporting clays within 5 miles. BayPoint is located on a quiet dead end street with no traffic.
