Description:Just 7 miles from exit 65 on I-65, this 2 story rustic rural cabin will accommodate 6 people very comfortably. It has 1 bedrm with private bath that sleeps 2 on the downstairs with a great room kitchen & sitting room. It has 2 bedrms upstairs that sleep 2 each with a shared bath, great room & kitchen. All mattresses are new. We offer a free continental breakfast. We are right in the heart of Cave Country, 1 hour from Louisville International airport and the Kentucky Derby, Many interesting tourist things to do for those who want to be going and for those who just want a stress free relaxing vacation then this is the place. The hosts offer 22 art and stained glass workshops in Avalon Stained Glass School & Creativity Center which is on the same property for those who want a learning vacation either for 3 hours or longer. Though we love pets we do not accommodate pets. There are ceiling fans in each room. We are in Hart county which offers many tourism things and we are 30 minutes from the Glasgow Highland Games, 1 hour from the Kentucky Derby, 20 minutes from the Kentucky Repetory Theater, Mamouth Cave State Park and much much more. Our price is $50.00 per night for the private room for two people or $35.00 per night per person for shared room. We do offer the whole house for special gatherings, meetings, reunions for up to 8 people at the price of $900.00 per week for 7 days and 6 nights. We will provide 2 extra comfortable cots for the other 2 people. Nolin Lake is nearby for excellent boating & fishing and the Green River is 5.5 miles away for fishing and canoe rentals. You will need to check on your own fishing licences. Hart county is a dry county so as imbibbers ourselves, (Arlene was an award winning Home Vintner for 14 years in upstate New York) we have to alert you to this fact and you must buy your own whatever outside of Hart county and bring it with you.... more info >>
