This all adds up to an amazing place for you to enjoy the great eat in kitchen, wonderful gas burning fireplace for those cold chilly evenings, a deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine to end the evening and spacious rooms top it all off. There are huge beautiful windows in case you want to lounge in a plush leather chair while looking out to the green courtyard or better yet, breathe the fresh air and feel the sun on your face on the front deck. Sleep peacefully we are close enough to the EL for convenience but far enough that it is a distant if unnoticeable sound. Rest soundly in a comy raised twin air mattress with added pillow top padding in a shared room for the single traveler or if traveling with a friend, we can make it two! Our spacious apartment will easily accommodate another couple in a Queen Size air mattress or two travelers since it can also be broken down as two twin air mattresses. We of course welcome and can accomodate the single traveler too. One thing we have learned about living in Chicago, is the weather can go to extremes so Central Heat and Air are MUST HAVES and we have it:) My fiance and I love this city and would like to share the amazing things we have found. We enjoy hosting out of town guests and ensuring they have a great experience. We realize you are either on vacation or here for business and we want you to feel right at home. Whatever we can do to make this a memorable trip, please let us know. Description:Need a relaxing getaway? Come and enjoy our beautiful lake! This cottage is located on the eastern cove of Loon Lake, under a shady canopy of trees. The 2 bedroom house has plenty of sleeping space, a full kitchen, bathroom (no tub, shower only), and a cozy living room. The front door leads directly through the lawn to the dock, where we have the best fishing on the lake. There is a fire pit next to the water for nighttime chats, s'mores, and hot dogs. You are welcome to use the kayaks, paddle boat, floating toys, etc. You may even use the cornhole boards, but prepare to be challenged by our neighbors! This getaway is great for couples who want some time to relax, or for families with children. Children will enjoy swimming and boating, and there is a platform for jumping and diving in deeper water. There are friendly neighbors on either side. We have a good mix of retired people, couples with children, people who live on the lake full-time, and people with weekend cabins. Plenty of parking, no cable, no internet (sorry, we like occasional technology seclusion). Phone service can be spotty. The lake is near to Columbia City for groceries, as well as many other lakes. There is much in the area to explore, and several nearby geocaching points (including one by the boat launch we've never managed to find). There's a putt-putt center on the main highway for kids, or adults will enjoy frisbee golf, a tea room, and other nearby oddities. Boats are welcome. They may be launched at the public launch not far from the cabin and docked on our pier.... more info >>

Description:My one bedroom apartment is located in Lincoln Park directly across the street from the north end of the park with a great view of Lake Michigan. Nearby is the Nature Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Lincoln Park Conservatory, Diversey Golf Driving Range, and the phenomenal Lake Front Trail. It is a one bedroom with a very comfortable couch if there is an extra person.
