In the late 1980's, the owners began a long and careful restoration of the house which had been exposed to years of neglect. Through research, salvage and a great deal of work, they were able to match, and hopefully surpass, the charm and integrity of an era when time was spent on the details. Today the Mosier House sits amidst gardens, a creek and a pond in a town of 350 residents while maintaining a close proximity to all of the action of Hood River and the activities in the Gorge National Scenic Area. nAs you walk up to the home, you are greeted with a wrap around porch that has stunning views across the river. As you enter the home, you are immediately swept into a different era and you can enter vacation mode right away! The main level of the home features a large dining table where everyone can gather for a family meal and there are two living areas that provide the perfect backdrop for engaging conversation and memorable experiences. There is a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of counter space to make cooking a delight! nAll of the bedrooms are on the upper level of the house, as it used to be a Bed and Breakfast. As a result, all but one of the bedrooms has a sink and mirror in it so it is easy to get ready for the day's adventures.
