The pool deck is exceptionally private, with no golfers or golf carts to spoil your privacy! The pool and spa are electrically heated so can be enjoyed year round. Pool toys are also available for your use. The pool deck is equipped with a gas BBQ, four sun loungers and dining table with 8 chairs. The pool safety fence ensures that families with young children can relax and unwind too! The living space of Villa Paradise has been very carefully and thoughtfully planned. The general feel of the accommodation is light and airy with a distinct, luxurious contemporary feel. A comfortable lounge provides an area to converse or to read quietly. There is a cosy TV area with a 46 screen, satellite TV, a DVD player and selection of DVD's. There are two dining areas: a dinette with seating for six, located close to the kitchen and a more formal dining table providing seating for a further six people. Villa Paradise has an open plan spacious kitchen allowing those cooking to still be included in the holiday fun! All your utensils, pots and pans and crockery are provided. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and coffee percolator. There is a separate utility room with a washer, tumble dryer and ironing board with iron. Villa Paradise provides outstanding sleeping accommodation. The arrangement of bedrooms is perfect for two families wishing to share their vacation. There are two luxurious master suites each with their own ensuite. Both ensuites have showers and jacuzzi baths. Hairdryers are provided for your use. The twin bedroom is light and airy and also has its own bathroom with a shower over the bath. Bedroom four has a double bed. Description:A unique Colorado setting! The Mountain Dome Home is located on 35 scenic acres in a gated ranch with good road maintenance (very important in Colorado). This home has been featured in The New York Times newspaper in the Escape Section, Mother Earth News magazine and the local Canon City Daily Record newspaper due to it's unique design, artistic details, including full murals in the loft and domed ceiling areas painted by a local artist, and it's decor of mountain lodge and western themes. You will find beautiful views, modern amenities and lots of privacy in this clean, cozy, artistic home. The home is stocked with most of the basics you will need during your stay including basic condiments in the kitchen and all sorts of toiletries you may have forgotten. There are 2 sleeping areas plus 2 sofas and 2 cots available if needed. The loft bedroom has a queen bed, closet and a 1/2 bath that we refer to as the loft outhouse due to it's unique decor of barn wood vanity and faux painting that makes it appear old. This sleeping area has a full mural of Colorado mountain scenery and full sky in the domed ceiling area fully viewable from this lofty abode. The second sleeping area is in the downstairs lower walkout level. The western cowboy bedroom has a lower double bed with a twin upper bunk, closet, and a desk in the corner with cowboy notes and envelopes to send a message to someone about your adventures. There is a full bath across from this bedroom with a claw foot slipper tub with a hand held shower head for cleaning up after a hard day. The rest of the lower level has a family room, leather sofa for watching TV w/ satellite(separate receiver) and a cowboy bar complete with saddle barstools, and a Denver & Rio Grande G scale train running at ceiling level around the entire room. The decor is rustic but comfortable and cozy. The main level of this unique cabin has a TV room w/ plush leather reclining sofa, DISH satellite and surround sound, a stereo sound system with 6 disc player cd that can be piped through speakers installed in any and all rooms in the cabin and all outside deck and patio areas, a sitting area to enjoy the fire in the wood stove, a full kitchen with a solid granite sink to wash the lodge inspired dish wear (sorry no dishwasher), full size refrigerator and smooth top stove. The main level also has a bath with a custom built (room for 2) lodge inspired shower (tiles w/ bears, moose and pine cones), a stained glass window to let in the light from the window and a handheld as well as a rainfall shower head for full relaxation. This home has been painstakingly built over the last 10 years by our own hands and we are excited to share it. Let?s take a walk-through tour of your villa Enter your villa through the double front door and you are into the main reception area, which includes the lounge for TV and a massive triple sliding door which opens out on to the pool and lanai with ample furniture for relaxing. The open-aspect kitchen with breakfast bar is fully-equipped, and you can serve meals to a formal dining area which looks out to the front of the property or a slightly less formal dining area which opens out on to the pool lanai. The kitchen location and open aspect allows anyone preparing a meal to still feel part of the holiday action ? you can chat with those in the lounge and still see the pool and the lovely view. There is also a large table on the lanai (a great area for al fresco breakfast or supper). Master bedroom one is to the left of the villa and has magnificent en-suite facilities including double wash basin, large shower and a tub with soothing jet nozzles. As you walk from the en-suite back into your bedroom there is a walk-in dressing room with ample clothes storage space on your left. Back in the room you can throw open a double door and step straight out on to the pool lanai. This end of the villa also has a pool shower room which is separate from all the bedrooms, and a TV den, where youngsters can retire to play on the PS2 or to enjoy DVDs. To the right of the kitchen you access Master Bedroom 2 and the other 2 bedrooms. Master Bedroom 2 also opens out on to the pool lanai and has its own en-suite facilities, with shower and tub. Master Bedrooms 1 and 2 have large beds ? King-size California and a King-size. Bedroom 3 has a Queen-size double and Bedroom 4 has Twin beds. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share an en-suite bathroom but the access door can be locked so that whoever is using the facilities will not be disturbed accidentally by someone gaining access from the other Bedroom. This end of the villa allows access to the utility room with washing machine and drier, and beyond that the double garage with its automatic, electrically controlled up-and-over double doors. The garage has 2 bikes, tennis equipment and a games box. Outside, your pool is 27ft by 17ft, with a 6ft deep end and 3ft shallow end. This is a good size for a family and measures up well when compared with other similar villas. It is electrically heated and the spa is a big hit with everyone. You look out over a golf course and lake which herons, egrets ? and possibly an alligator ? will visit. One, known as Kots House, is a 2-story, 4-bedroom, 2-bath home built in the late 1800's and recently fully remodeled. It will sleep 9 people. The other, known as Kots Studio, is smaller, also 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath, and will sleep 4 people. Each has its own private yard.The larger Kots House (4 bedrooms) features 1 California King bed upstairs, 1 regular King bed downstairs, 1 Queen bed upstairs, 1 Double bunk bed downstairs (the bottom bunk bed is a double bed with a single bed on top).It has a large, pleasant family kitchen, fully equipped with many extras. The Gathering Table seats 8 and there is counter seating for 2 adults or 3 children. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee pot, teapot and many other useful items not usually provided in rentals. There is also a washer and dryer in the house.There is cable TV in the kitchen as well as the living room, and plenty of movies on DVD to watch.There is also a movable electric fireplace made by the Amish from oak trees.There is a mural of the Schweitzer Basin in the living room of Kots House that was painted by Russell Kotschevar, a well known local businessman who owned and built a local pub downtown. He also carved 'Pend O'Reille Pete', a larger-than-life-size statue which is displayed at US Bank just a couple of blocks from the property. 'Pete' is pretty famous and travels to various exhibits all over the country.The property has a small, grassy front yard and there are large, beautiful trees lining the street. The back yard is small and completely fenced with an outdoor firepit, a BBQ grill, table & chairs, and a covered, cushioned 3 seat swing.Smoking is permitted on the covered outdoor patio and the yard , but smoking inside the rental houses is not allowed and will result in the loss of deposit.Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional deposits or rental fees may apply.There is room for 2-3 cars to be parked in the driveway next to the house.Kots Studio is a 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath house with one King bed and one Queen bed upstairs, to sleep 4. Description:Beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom air conditioned villa located on a double plot so you are not overlooked on either side. Sleeps six people. Situated in Rotonda West, one of the best kept secrets in this region, the villa is within a few minutes drive of several Gulf Coast beaches, shops and restaurants. The sleeping accommodation in 3 bedrooms includes one queen-size bed, one double bed and one room with twin single beds. There is a master suite with walk-in shower and large bath and twin basins, a guest bathroom and a separate poolside toilet. Hardwood floors are in all living areas with carpet in the bedrooms, marble window sills and comfortable high quality sofas. As you enter the villa the wow factor is good. Large living area or lounge leading to an open plan kitchen - both have sliding glass doors to the lanai (patio). The master bedroom has its own glass doors to the pool. Eco-friendly solar heated pool with spa that overlook the river in a beautiful setting. The kitchen breakfasting nook also opens to pool area which has 4 cushioned sun loungers. 6 poolside chairs and large oval table help you enjoy outside dining. The pool can be safety screened if you have small children. If you eat outside and we generally do so, you are likely to notice many wild birds - both large and small, turtles, and jumping fish ( a sign of happiness so they say). In the early morning or late at night you might catch sight of or hear a raccoon, or a bobcat. The pool is south facing & solar heated so even in the cooler months you can enjoy a refreshing swim at any time. In the cooler months the pool has a night cover which if used in conjunction with the daytime solar heat should keep the temp between 75F to 86F. Optional electric heating for jetted hot tub beside the pool can be arranged via local management company at £50/$80 per week if required. (The extra heating is rarely needed except in cooler months). A gas BBQ is supplied, 2 bikes, 3 beach chairs, 2 beach sun umbrellas, 4 fishing rods plus a keep-net and some toys for young children complete the picture. A laptop computer with broadband and wi-fi / wireless connectivity is available for guest use and makes it easy to stay in touch by email, and to surf the net for what's-on etc. The kitchen is very well equipped, & includes a tea pot, egg cups, grapefruit knife, cafetaire and an electric coffee maker, smoothie maker and all the normal things. The Villa is individually owned and managed locally, so if you need anything, just ask. It is set on a double plot of land in the midst of trees and this adds to the feeling of space. Irrigation is on an automatic timer and uses river water so the lawns and shrubs around this property are generally lush the year round. The property is cleaned and checked on Guests departure and again before arrival.
