Description:Rent my duplex during sxsw--ideal location! SXSW Inf I am a 5 minute cab ride to downtown, with a bus stop a few blocks away. You can feasibly walk to Auditorium Shores, Zilker Park, and even downtown (it would be a bit of a hike, but doable). I am an easy walk to a number of bars/restaurants on South Lamar where you will find some SX parties, and a really quick bus/taxi ride to South Congress where you'll find tons of SX parties. My duplex accommodates 4 comfortably. The duplex is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath unit, with free wi-fi, full-sized washer/dryer, and large outdoor patio/backyard. The second bedroom is being used as a study, but will have a full-size air mattress to easily accommodate 2 additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. The backyard has a gas grill, modern covered patio area with couches/table, and big backyard. Smoking is ok outside. The carport will easily accomodate 2 cars, with lots of additional parking on the street. The neighborhood is one of the most desired areas to live in Austin, and is extremely safe, close to everything, and a perfect place to be for sxsw!... more info >>

The apartment is 24.2 miles / 35 min. from the Formula One racetrack in Elroy. Guests have use of a queen bed and computer workstation, living room with wood-burning fireplace, leather couch and coffee table, wooden bar stool and counter. The kitchen has a stone-tiled floor, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, ice maker and coffee machine. There is an inflatable twin mattress and utility cot for extra guests. Provided in the bathroom is clean linen and plenty of counter space. A sliding glass door opens from the dining area to a patio. There is wifi / modem internet access, convenient parking and a security gate. The Tech Ridge HEB shopping plaza is located on the northbound frontage. Within a mile along the southbound frontage are convenience stores and taco stands. Capitol Metro bus service can be found walking north along the frontage road to Yager Lane (west) to N. Description:This restored 1950s cottage offers 2 private bedrooms, one with a full bed, the other with 2 twin beds in a trundle set and a vibrating chaise lounger. We also have 2 clean camp cots and an air bed that can be set up in the large open dining/kitchen area. The bathroom has a full-size tub and shower. All rooms have cable tvs, we have an old school video/game library and DVD/VHS/Playstation 2 players available on one set. The dining area seats six and overlooks our fish pond. There is a computer station with free use of our private LAN and public wireless access is available throughout the neighborhood. The dining area opens to the spacious kitchen that has a fridge stocked with basic condiments, a gas stove, new microwave and all the gadgets, appliances and settings you need for formal dining or packing a picnic basket for your day trips. We also provide you full private use of the front yard which has a large picnic table, umbrella, ice chest, and a Weber grill so you can try your hand at Texas BBQing. Or you can share with us our backyard outdoor living area and use the gas grill and covered patio areas. Our home is in the East Cesar Chavez Neighborhood, located on the Tejano Healthy Walking Trail, and is across the street from Martin Middle School's track and tennis courts. Next to the school playground is an adjacent city Playground, Park, and Pool. There are no fees to play or swim at these parks. We're just 1 block from Fiesta Gardens and Lady Bird Lake and its Hike and Bike Trail which will take you on tree-shaded strolls to downtown, the convention center, East Sixth Street, Rainey Street and Riverside Drive Entertainment Districts, Auditorium Shores, Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Gardens, and the Nature Center. Description:This darling apartment right off of the 1st Street bridge is golden for it's location- a 15 minute walk to Zilker Park, home of the Austin City Limits fest, a 15 minute walk to the center of Austin's happening downtown, and in even less time your two feet can whisk you to the S. Congress boutique district. No worries if you don't feel like walking though, a parking space is included in the price of the rental, and there are a couple of bike rental shops nearby if you want to take advantage of Austin's bike-friendliness! My address is just steps away from several different bus routes as well (including a no-transfer line that drops you off hassle-free at Zilker/Barton Springs for $1). Also included is free wi-fi access, central air, automatic dishwasher, a television with DVDs (sorry, no cable!), and a shady BBQ patio shared by the small apartment complex. Additionally, there are coin-operated washer-driers on the grounds. I have a comfy queen-sized bed and a futon in the living room. Technically, you could have a 4th person sleeping here, but the futon is twin-sized, so someone would need a sleeping bag to crash on the floor (I have one ya'll can use if you want to squish a fourth buddy). I will have plenty of cookware for you, clean towels for 4 folks, and extra linens/pillows if you would like to take advantage of the futon. My place is clean, quiet (please, no parties! Keep in mind that the one bathroom is accessed though the bedroom only so a small inconvenience for anyone sleeping on the sofa. Description:The bungalow's a little haven on hospital hill, or NoHo, as I call it. One of the safest, quietest neighborhoods in Flagstaff, it's near Buffalo Park, a huge meadow with world-class mountain views, trails, and out of this world stargazing (although the stars are amazing from my patio, too :) Downtown is only a mile away, so it's a short drive and a relatively nice walk depending on the season. Also, I have a small fleet of bikes you'd be welcome to use if you're so inclined! My place has a really open floor plan, with two divided rooms that could be called four rooms, the kitchen/living room and the office/bedroom. I really enjoy the kitchen/living room because it lets you prepare food and enjoy company in the living room at the same time, or watch a movie/tv while you're cooking, if that's your fancy. The house is split into 2 units, so there is a shared wall with a family, so please no crazy noise at night. A little is fine, though, and even welcome (I occasionally hear the faint din of a saxophone in the evening, but nothing I'd consider disturbing). If you like to barbecue or build a campfire, there's a fire pit/grill in my patio/garden area. I have a privacy fence so it's a nice little hang out area. The bed is a king-size goose-down mattress, which I like to call nature's memory foam, and it adjoins the office, but can be closed off easily with a curtain. I like watching the lights from the disco ball bounce around the room from time to time...Alternatively, you might like building a fire in the living room and sleep on the queen-size futon. There's another double futon in the office and an additional couch in the living room, hence sleeping space for 7, but more could stay if you want to camp on the patio or throw down one of my air mattresses (I have a single and a queen, you pump up :) There's plenty of parking, and I have cable and wifi. If I'm in town, I'd be happy to show you around or point you in the direction of great food and entertainment. I've lived in town for over a decade now so I know tons of people and fancy myself a social butterfly, so don't hesitate to ask me anything! You can drive to Santa Fe in only an hour, and to Taos in 2 and a half hours. You will want to see the National and State parks while you are here. White Sands, Ruidoso, Carlsbad Caverns it's home to over 80 species. Oliver Lee Memorial State Park - Outside of Alamogordo in the Sacramento Mountains, the flowing water and abundant plants and animals in Dog Canyon attracted both prehistoric and historic inhabitants to the area. Pancho Villa State Park - On the border with Mexico, this park offer extensive historical exhibits depicting the raid on Columbus, New Mexico in 1916. Percha Dam State Park - Percha Dam State Park in southwest New Mexico may well be the greatest hidden treasure of the New Mexico State Park system. Aztec Ruins National Monument - The Aztec Ruins National Monument in northwest New Mexico preserves structures and artifacts of Ancestral Pueblo people from the 1100s through 1200s. Bandelier National Monument - Head into the extensive back country in north-central New Mexico to hike, camp, and explore at leisure the lands and dwellings once occupied by the ancestors of present-day Pueblo Indians. Capulin Volcano National Monument - Mammoths, giant bison, and short-faced bears traversed this territory in what is now northeast New Mexico around the time the volcano was formed. Coronado State Monument - Where Francisco Vásquez de Coronado, with 300 soldiers and 800 Indian allies from New Spain, entered the central Rio Grande valley while looking for the fabled Seven Cities of Gold. El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro National Historic Trail - El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro National Historic Trail ran from northeast New Mexico to Mexico City. It is a part of the United States National Trails system. El Malpais National Monument - El Malpais—the Badlands—in northwest New Mexico have a diverse volcanology of lava flows and associated features dating from 115,000 to 2,000 years old. El Morro National Monument - A reliable waterhole hidden at its base made El Morro (or Inscription Rock) a popular campsite in western New Mexico. Beginning in the late 1500s, Spanish, and later, Americans passed by El Morro. Fort Selden State Monument - Fort Selden was established by United States Government in 1865, in an effort to bring peace to the south-central region of present day New Mexico. Several units of Buffalo Soldiers were stationed here. Fort Union National Monument - As a key stopover point for travelers along the Old Santa Fe Trail, Fort Union in northeastern New Mexico was witness to countless expeditions, Indian raids and commercial gatherings during its short but storied existence. Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument - Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument in southwestern New Mexico offers a glimpse of the homes and lives of the people of the Mogollón culture who lived in the Gila Wilderness from the 1280s through the early 1300s. Jemez State Monument - Six hundred years ago, the Jemez people built villages in the narrow mountain valley and on the tops of the steep, sculptured mesas, naming one valley village Giusewa for the many hot springs in the area. Lincoln State Monument - This frequently visited state monument in southeast New Mexico is part of a community that remains much as it did in the 1870s and 1880s. Old Spanish National Historic Trail - The Old Spanish Trail is a historic trade route which connected the northern New Mexican settlement of Santa Fe with that of Los Angeles in California. Petroglyph National Monument - The Petroglyph National Monument west of Albuquerque in central New Mexico protects a variety of cultural and natural resources including five volcanic cones, hundreds of archeological sites and an estimated 25,000 images carved by Native Americans and early Spanish settlers. Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument - Once, thriving American Indian trade communities of Tiwa- and Tompiro-speaking Puebloans inhabited this remote frontier area of central New Mexico. Early in the 17th-century, Spanish Franciscans found the area ripe for their missionary efforts. Santa Fe National Historic Trail - The Santa Fe Trail was a historic 19th century transportation route across southwestern North America, connecting Missouri with Santa Fe, New Mexico. Description:Two chicks, one dog willing to vacate their awesomely good premises so that some lucky outta-towners can relax in style, close to all the culture, music and film action of SXSW. $300 per night, 4 night minimum/9 night, maximum Preference/Discount given to those who would like to stay longer. Our striking amenities: 2 comfortable, attractive bedrooms, each equipped with 2 High Quality queen sized beds. Closet, dresser & storage space, too. A fine, full-sized couch, super comfy for sleeping or lounging. Full-size bath, upstairs & 1/2 bath/laundry room combo downstairs. A backyard with covered patio and some chairs An upstairs, covered balcony off the master bedroom Downstairs is all tile, upstairs is all carpeted. We *might* consider allowing a dog, this can be discussed. Our bright, clean kitchen is fully stocked with gas range, fully functional appliances, plenty of cooking tools and a dishwasher. Walk, paddle, or float to Gruene! This secluded Historic Rustic Cabin is located on a wooded 1-acre lot (1505 Edwards Blvd., New Braunfels 78132), just 1/2 Mile upstream from the Historic Gruene District, on a 140-foot span of the Guadalupe Riverbank. A rustic cedar privacy fence encloses the Cabin and private deck area with seating. The Cabin has its own private view of the surrounding woods and landscaped and lighted walkways. Additionally, the private deck has a large Weber Kettle Charcoal Barbecue Grill, with cooking utensils and self-starting charcoal provided. The interior of the Cabin has been completely redone, since its original construction as a 1940's Fishing Camp Cabin, which was the only structure originally on this property deeded by the original German Immigrants who settled in New Braunfels. The Cabin has a King-Size bed, and a full private bathroom, that can accommodate 2. All new Ralph Lauren suede-paint interiors, blinds, and luxury-grade carpet have been added.
