Description:Our family purchased this wonderful house in July 2009. The house is less than 200 yards from the beach access. It has a reverse floor plan with the main living room, kitchen and master bedroom on the top floor. Though we have ocean views from all levels, it is this top floor that offers the best views. The deck has tables and chairs so you can relax here with your morning coffee or evening beverage. n nIn April 2013, we remodeled the main living room to incorporate additional built-in bookshelves and a wall-mounted 70-inch LED TV. We also added new, very comfortable Poly-Wood Club Chairs and tables to the third floor deck. n nThe house has 8 bedrooms (4 Kings, 2 Queens, and 2 bunkrooms), 6 1/2 baths, and can sleep 19 in beds. Each of the 4 Kings and both Queens have flat-screen TVs. All 4 Kings and one of the Queens have private bathrooms. The other Queen shares a Jack-n-Jill bath with one of the bunk rooms. The top floor master has a tiled shower and separate tub, as well as a double vanity. n nThere are other houses that sleep more people, but they do so by cramming four or more people in each bedroom. We love our children, but we prefer not to share a bedroom with them. Wee28099ve tried to provide an environment where our guests can enjoy a little bit of privacy, rather than be stacked on top of one another. n nBoth living rooms have wall-mounted LED TVs, and the house has HD cable and movie channels. There is an elevator that serves every floor (not the case with all houses that have elevators), secure high-speed wireless internet (password provided), ceiling fans and tile floors throughout, and a fully stocked kitchen. The wrap-around decks on each level have plenty of chairs and offer great views of the ocean, the sound, and the setting sun. n nWe have a private pool which can be heated in the spring and fall. Around the pool, we have a number of lounge chairs for sunbathing and another table with chairs and an umbrella for eating. We have a second table and chairs in the pool area located under the shade of the deck above. We provide a number of floats and toys for use in the pool. Additionally, we have an enclosed, outdoor double shower with hot water and poly-wood floor (no splinters). n nOur guests enjoy access to The Islander Beach Club from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Club has an oceanfront pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool. Within the Club, The Isles restaurant offers a full bar and restaurant for oceanfront dining. Since we have a private pool, I done28099t know how many of our guests use the Beach Club. However, since check-in is not until 4:00pm, it does give our early-arriving guests the opportunity to go to the beach and/or pool prior to getting into the house. Our Islander membership also allows our guests year-round access to the island 's only tennis courts. n nThe house is child friendly, with a variety of games, toys, and coloring supplies. We also provide a portable crib (mattress dimensions: 37.5 x 24e2809d x 1), a full-sized high chair, a safety gate, cabinet locks, and a Radio Flyer wagon. n t nWe are less than 200 yards from the beach access, which is one of the few beach access points on the island that has a ramp instead of stairs.
